Trouwe Hond K-9

Ruthie, my 8 month old Australian Labradoodle is a sweet dog, who likes to jump up on everyone and bark when I am on the phone and not always come when called. David gave me the confidence and the tools to train and keep Ruthie a dog that is pleasant to be around no matter where I take her. I like that I can check in with David if I need any help and look forward to my follow up visit in two weeks to see how well I can continue to follow the training tools David has given me. Ruthie responded well to David and his wife, Jody did her laundry and kept her clean. What a nice facility they have and although I missed Ruthie, I knew she was in good hands! Highly recommend.

Dave is fantastic! We brought our very energetic 10 month old GSP to be trained and she came home with the same sweet and spunky personality but also the ability to listen. Half of the training is for the dog and half is for the human - maybe mostly for the human. He has ben fantastic about answering questions via email between training sessions and gives great pointers. He really cares about the dogs and making sure there is strong communication so that you dont leave the training sessions without action items or things to watch out for. I'm now comfortable using the ecollar and leash to make sure our pup understands our commands so we can both have a good time and keep her safe. I would highlyTrouwe Hond!

We found Dave after years of trying other training methods for our Olde English Bulldogge. Tinka became very reactive to other dogs while we had her in daycare and it got to the point where we just had to take her out, which was upsetting since we had her in daycare to help with her socialization. We thought we were doing the right thing. It got to the point where were could not take her for a walk and pass other dogs without her lunging and barking, trying to get to the other dog. Once she started going after our other dog, we knew we had to try something. Enter Dave. Not only did he take the time to meet with both myself and Tinka at his facility, he explained, step by step, what to expect with his training for both Tinka and myself. Dave took the time to explain the reasons behind his training methods and what methods would produce the desired behavior and why. Dave really put me at ease with his knowledge and his patience, so I felt completely comfortable leaving my dog in his care at his spotless facility. After one week, we go back and have a training session with Dave and Tinka and already I could see an immense improvement. Dave took the time to walk through the training methods he had worked on with Tinka and then had us work with her while he watched and offered corrections to our handling where needed. Leaving the session that day I felt a confidence that I had not realized had been missing. After picking her up at the end of week two, both Tinka and I had the tools we were missing to be able to communicate. I couldn't wait to take her for a walk and it was like night and day. I was reading her body language and was able to anticipate any potential problems and effectively manage them before Tinka could react. She is a much happier dog now that she knows that I am in control and I am a much happier dog owner now that I know that I can keep her happy and calm no matter where we are. I would recommend Dave to anyone who needs dog training, either for their dog or themselves. He is a wealth of knowledge and a great teacher.

I brought my 3 year old German Shephard down to meet and be trained by Dave and Jodi, the weeks of Nov1st-Nov 15th. Dave did an OUTSTANDING job not only teaching both my wife and I , but completely changing how our dog Gunner acts. Dave spent time teaching my wife and I how a dog like a German Shephard WANTS to be trained and act. His attention to detail and ability to share his knowledge with us is a GOLD Standard that should be recognized. This is not a ONE TIME fix, we need to reinforce the skills Dave worked with Gunner on, but also remain Consistent with them. All I can say is THANKS to JODI and DAVE for your help.
