In my dog ownerships over the past 20 years, I’ve been able to squeak by without training for my previous dogs. Last year I purchased my first German Shepard and quickly realized that as a dog owner, this was a tremendous responsibility. I consulted with my veterinarian and they hands down recommended Swan Family dog training. I gave them a call and explained what I needed. Within 10 minutes of the phone call I was sure I had found the right person for the job. Stephens confidence Was a huge relief to experience. We made the appointment to meet here at my house and he was on time to the minute, polite and the true definition of a animal lover. Within the hour I learned more myself about the way a dog thinks and operates than I had ever known. At that point I scheduled a long term program for Tango my GSD. My dog, our life here at home and the things that Tango learned and retained was a game changer. I wish I had the fore-site with my other dogs in the past to have reached out to a real professional for education. It’s the difference between having a child stay home for 12 years compared to sending the child to the best school in the state. There was and is “depth” to what Stephen showed me and Tango. It stuck and I think I have the best dog I could ever have....... Beyond the training Tango received, I have a resource and connection for all things dog related. I’m a single full time father and my son is 15. We end up out of town for sporting events, small vacations and have had a few emergencies where I just had to go out of town for work right that minute..... All I do is call Stephen and explain what I need, when I need it and he goes above and beyond to make my life easy and Tangos safe and sound.... Stephen you are the best! I hope this helps anyone shopping for a proper dog trainer the confidence I now have with them.
We had a great experience with Steven and Swan Family for our Husky Bogey. Steve did a great job coming into our home and setting up a training plan specifically for us. We did the 3 week boarding program and Bogey has been great since he's been back. I would highly recommend Swan Family!
Swan family dog training is absolutely amazing. We brought our dog (Marley) for the 4 week program and I have to say since she’s been home she hasn’t had any signs of aggressive behavior and walks on the leash perfect.
We have two spirited Golden Retrievers and were not responding to training. They are sisters from the same litter adding to their stubbornness. Stephen of Swan dog training took our dogs to his home site for 5 weeks. He returned our Goldens to us who were behaving unbearably well. Responsive to commands not jumping on people. Walking with my wife on a loose leash. We couldn't be more pleased.
