I took my German Shepherd Dog, Maxx, to Swan Family Dog Training for the 3 week board and train program. Maxx was a rescue and I learned after I got him that he is aggressive. I called Steve and told him about Maxx and I asked about the board and train. Steve suggested that he come to my house to evaluate Maxx because he may be able to save me money if Maxx didn’t need the board and train. Clearly, Steve doesn’t train dogs for the money. He does it for the love of dogs. We agreed that Maxx would be trained more quickly with the board and train. While Maxx was at the facility, Steve posted videos of training and their play time. I cried watching the transformation of Maxx. When the program was complete he spent 2 hours educating me and showing me how to handle him. Steve is remarkably calm but confident. The facility he moved into is brand new and the property is amazing. Steve does a follow up at the house a week after the board and train. The programs are very reasonably priced AND you get to keep all of the training tools. I will be boarding Maxx with Steve whenever I travel and I will recommend him to anyone looking for an amazing, professional trainer.

I don't know what Steve "whispered" to my dog, but at the end of the consultation, Roscoe was a different - and better behaved - canine.
Steve has a kind of ... magic ... that Roscoe immediately responded to. It was amazing to witness!

After much study and research we chose the Swan Family as our new Labradoddles' Trainer. We have been fortunate to have been able to get the very best care for all of our dogs over the years. Choco is 17 months old now and the Swan Family has been training and taking care of him since he was 3 months. Whenever we go away, we place Choco in the Swan Familys' care. Most recently when hurricane Darian was headed this way, my wife Gail & I were vacationing on the West Coast. I texted Stephen to see what plans he had for his boarding dogs. We were very comforted when his returned text said "...Not to worry, if we have to evacuate, wherever we go, Choco will be with us."

Awesome awesome! I felt completely comfortable sending my beloved dog, Ravioli, to Swan Family Dog Training for 3 weeks. Ravioli came back with manners. They explained everything to me also and the follow up was great! Would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for dog training!
