5/5 Stars - Exceptional Puppy Training Experience! We enrolled our 9-week-old puppy, Violet, in Rocky Mountain Dog Training's (RMDT) Day School program, and it was a game-changer! Julie and Christine are indeed "gentle wizards" when it comes to dog training. They taught Violet invaluable foundational skills like "place," "wait," "leave it," and "sit" in a nurturing and supportive environment. We were so impressed with the progress Violet made that we opted for the additional two-week customized program. They tailored Violet's training to meet our family's specific needs, focusing on loose leash walking, introducing hunting skills, and overcoming nail trimming challenges. Violet adored her time at RMDT and eagerly anticipated each day's adventures. As a bonus, Christine's one-on-one sessions with us humans were incredibly informative, empowering us to support Violet's growth and development. RMDT's Day School program has been an invaluable investment in welcoming our new furry family member. Rocky Mountain Dog Training was an A+ experience! Our new pup Mookie joined them for puppy day school. In the program Christine and Julie laid a solid foundation for his training, his adventures, his socialization, and even his handling during grooming. He learned so many skills that we were able to take home and use in our everyday life! He came home happy everyday (a bit tired - needed a good puppy nap) and loved going! He had so many friends! It was also super cute to see! I'm so grateful to them and so glad we choose them for this important developing time in his young puppy life :) UPDATE: Hi! I just wanted to let you all know that Mookie just had his first grooming experience! When I picked him up she told me that in her 25 years of grooming he was the best puppy she had ever had! That whatever you all do at puppy school really works and she wishes everyone did what I did in sending him to you all :)

We took our puppy here and were absolutely blown away and would recommend to anyone with a puppy to enroll them at RMDT. Miley started out as a shy, scared of anything new puppy, and through their socialization and training program, we have a wonderful, optimistic puppy that has the foundation for being a great dog in any situation. They provide a great framework that you use at home to supplement the work they do at puppy school and ultimately can continue to use after graduation. Their communication is amazing throughout, including videos and handouts for what to do at home, and what they are still working on at school. They are clear in the areas the puppy is struggling and needs additional work and how to do it. They provide handoff sessions in the middle and the end that really helps keeping everyone on the same page and provide an opportunity to ask questions and gives you the confidence for what to do at home to maximize the experience . Additionally, (and probably even more important for a puppy like Miley), they provide a structured socialization program that helps the puppies understand how to interact with other dogs, people, and new situations. I also really felt they cared about the puppies and their mission for setting the foundation for them to be great lifelong companions. I can’t recommend highly enough.
