Rocky Mountain Dog Training

Rocky Mountain Dog Training was such a great place to get our puppy out into training classes. SO much of training relies on the human, and Julie makes sure each one of us feels confident in working with our pup. My dog, Charlie, had several accidents because he had a problem peeing when he’s excited, but I was never made to feel like I was a bad owner for him having this problem. I feel excited about working with my pup throughout his life to enrich his life and have a great relationship with him. Picture of his graduation from basic manners:)

I cannot recommend Rocky Mountain Dog Training enough. Our puppy is a breed sometimes considered “stubborn” so we knew we needed to get him started with training as soon as possible. Rocky Mountain Dog Training offered the perfect solution with their Ultimate Puppy School. The 4 week program established foundational skills, introduced good socialization behavior, and built confidence through exposure to all types of different situations such as groomer and vet handling. It was a joy to watch his progress each week, and we were so happy with the experience we added two additional weeks. Julie and Christine are a wealth of knowledge and provided a safe, happy environment for our puppy to learn and grow. He’s now nearly six months and people are astounded at how well behaved he is — which we always credit to the stellar experience we had with Ricky Mountain Dog Training. No matter what service you select, you are setting your puppy and your family up for long term success.

A well deserved five stars. I took my young pup to a puppy socialization class. I learned so much from Julie in one hour that I knew I had to sign up for the basic manners for puppies. The program absolutely set me up for success to help guide my puppy along week by week. I love the way the class is structured. There is a great amount of learning that is available on a handout folder and videos to follow through what is taught each week in class. So nice to have the tools to go back and continue to learn on. Julie is amazing at her craft and the knowledge she has is unmatched. She is great at teaching, but also shows such kindness and compassion to both the humans and the puppies in her class. I appreciate her taking the time to answer all of my questions along the way. I know for a fact I would be lost in trying to train my puppy without her. Her class has given me the confidence to keep working to set my puppy up for continued success.
