K9 Control Training

We sent my husband's German Shepherd, Max to K-9 Control to get some follow-up training. Max had previous training and new all her basic commands, but she still struggled with listening and obeying them when she was excited. Max worked with Stasia for 6 weeks. It was very difficult to have her away for so long, but Stasia did a great job communicating weekly by send report cards and videos of Max in training. That way we could see her progress and feel close to her. When Max ended her training she came back a calm and well-listened dog. She no longer looked for every moment to play. Instead she stayed close to my husband and followed his every command. Stasia spent over an hour going over all her commands in both English, German and silent gestures. My Spanish speaking husband really loves the German commands and he felt really listened to by Stasia on all his concerns and questions about Max. Overall, it was a great experience and worth all the time and money. Max can now join my husband at work, at the gym and all public spaces because she is such a well trained dog thanks to Stasia.

I was initially hesitant to spend money on dog training. We sent our one year old Dobie to K-9 and I am so thankful we did!! Hannah was amazing and she returned our goofy and stubborn puppy with so many manners and a renewed ability to listen. My mom is not a fan of big dogs but she has let us bring this big goof when we come to visit because she is so well behaved. The follow up has allowed us to maintain the work K9 did. We just completed 4 weeks of training for our 1 year old Lab named Luna. We originally were a bit hesitant on the price but it has been worth every penny. Hannah OG was Luna’s trainer and she was excellent. 4 weeks was a long time to be away from our dog and she even had her 1st bday while in training. Hannah OG sent us updates every week with pictures and even gave Luna a birthday treat! She has been extremely helpful in answering our questions post training and we are very impressed with what Luna has learned. We would recommend K9 control training to any dog owner!

I am so incredibly happy with the decision we made to use K9 Control. Hannah(s) did an absolutely amazing job answering all of my family's questions and providing updates throughout the process. The professionalism and knowledge was above and beyond expectations. When we decided to adopt one of my fosters from the Georgia Doberman Rescue, I wanted to find a training facility that knew the personality and special characteristics that make the doberman such a special dog. The idea of a 4 week board and train was intimidating, especially with my pup's handicaps stemming from a broken leg as a puppy and her lack of socialization from months of recovery that followed. Those worries were relaxed upon meeting the K9 Staff at the consultation. The team was awesome at providing tweaks to the training to accommodate her needs and she is absolutely loving life. The follow up has been outstanding, answering questions and teaching us how to utilize the training methods - even the toddlers are picking up on it. Thank you so much!
