K9 Control Training

I am retired LE and I knew that Owen was a former police K9 handler so I requested my evaluation to be with him. At the time I had a 6 1/2 year old pure bread working line German Shepherd. Owen met with me and was very friendly and easy going. I felt like I got a little VIP treatment (huge VIP treatment) as I spoke to him I saw a young lady kind of just being around but she didn’t say anything. After a great meeting I booked a date. I was sad to drop Freya off but I knew that it was best for her and our family of 8. At the drop off I was met by the young lady who was observing my meeting with Owen. She advised that she would be Freya’s trainer. 4 weeks later we got her back. I loved Freya before but was frustrated that she wouldn’t listen a lot of the time and was extremely impulsive. Well I now have the dog of my dreams. Because her demeanor has become so much calmer I am able to keep her attention to do additional training myself. I have had other dogs in the past but the obedience factor has helped to create the relationship I desired. I am her person. She is the only living thing in my home that 100% listens and obeys me. Thank you Owen and Stasia. The training was worth every single cent. Stasia has also texted me and is going to do a home visit. ❤️. If you have a pup that you love but just struggle with control this is the place to go.

When we left our one year old pit bull mix with Hannah 2.0, she was wild, totally untrained, and very rambunctious. She jumped on everyone, was very insecure, and pulled on the leash so bad she was impossible to walk. After four weeks with Hannah, she is now very well behaved, much more confident, and quick to learn. She is amazing on her walks, barely pulls, and is always eager to please. We work with her every day either in the yard or around the neighborhood and the more we work with her the more confident she becomes and the easier it becomes to teach her new skills and expectations. In addition to training our dog, Hannah taught us what we needed to maintain the amazing progress she made. She is an amazing teacher! For those concerned about using an e-collar, it is not an electric shock like an invisible fence. It is more like an odd neurological sensation similar to an uncomfortable muscle spasm. At this point we barely use it. We could not be more grateful for Hannah's amazing work!

Can't say enough good things about k-9 control training! We felt so good leaving our 1 year old Aussiedoodle there for 4 weeks after meeting with the trainers during our consultation. We got weekly progress videos and you could clearly see the improvement each week! Stasia was an incredible trainer and it was obvious that Hopper loved her. She took our dog around town with her to expose him to different environments and it was so clear that she knew his personality so well when we picked him up. We are so thankful for her training our pup and are excited to meet with her for a follow up session and attend group classes in the future!

Stacia was a fantastic trainer for my young lab puppy Maggie. She’s smart, knows exactly what to do in every situation we’ve thrown at her, and knows just how hard to push and how to reward my dog. Stacia also made a 2+ hour trip to help when I had training issues down the line. She (and K-9 control) will stick with you for the rest of your dogs life and give the most high quality training and care out there.
