K9 Control Training

All I can say is WOW!! STASIA knows her stuff. Brought my GSD Thor in for a month of behavioral training.Hes assigned to Stasia for his trainer. Hes a totally different dog. He knows his hand signals and verbal commands very well. Stasia is an expert in dog /animal psychology. It's amazing. I've been able to come and train with Thor and Stasia. This entire Rstablishment is run like a wrll oiled machine. Shout out to Wren and Joe for all their efforts to accommodate us and Thir in the middle of a move .We appreciate all you have done. These people are Top Notch. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I would not recommend this place to anyone. I saw their ad on the internet and thought it might be a fit for my 2-year-old English Cream golden retriever. So, I scheduled an evaluation. I arrived at the facility a few minutes early. There is a lobby area with a window to a receptionist. I approached the window and stood waiting for about a minute while the receptionist talked on the phone. She looked up at me and asked me to fill out an information form which was on a clipboard on the shelf in the window. I took the form and sat down to fill it out. My dog is very used to seeing other dogs from many days at Wag Factory. When I was nearly done filling out the form, a young woman came into the window. She immediately asked me to hold onto my dog. I explained that it was difficult to fill out the form while I was holding on to a curious dog. She said that they had several drop offs coming that day and I should not allow my dog to roam free. By then, I was done with the form and called my dog over. She then introduced herself as the person doing the evaluation. She then asked what a typical day was like at our house. I explained that Rinnie was in and out the house because we have a fenced in yard. I take her on a walk daily and that she had been going to doggie day care about 3-4 days per week. She then lectured me that being allowed to run free in the yard and go to doggie day care created anxiety in dogs and were not good for them. About then, she came into the lobby with a lead in her hand and started to look at my dog. She did not say one word to her at that time. Rinnie was curious, but cautious. The woman then asked my to put the lead on my girl. She explained that it was a martin collar and would not hurt her. After that, she took Rinnie to the other side of the lobby and jerked her around a few times. About 2 minutes later, she announced that Rinnie would need six weeks of board and train. I asked her about visitation, which she said was not allowed. I asked in that was that the normal time of the program, she said 4 weeks was normal, but Rinnie would need 6. She gave my girl back to me and we exchanged leashes. I asked about the cost and she said it would be $1000 per week. She then gave me a brochure and I left. So, the entire process took about 10 minutes. I was not impressed. Incidentally, no other customers came to drop off their dogs while we were there.

So worth the investment! Meeko is a head strong, stubborn Cattle Dog and Ali worked her magic. We wondered if his personality would change being gone 6 weeks but he’s still his rambunctious silly self, but his listening is night and day and ‘place’ has been such a saver when he needs to mellow out or when guests are over. Love that we can loose leash walk him and even allow him off leash and his recall is great. It’s great that they offer followups and monthly group classes to help insure the training sticks and stays around for the long term. Highly recommend.
