Julie Taylor is a nationally certified dog trainer and canine behavior specialist with over 15 years of experience helping dogs and their people succeed together. She specializes in puppy development, behavior modification, deaf dog training, therapy and service dog foundations, and teaching both ends of the leash. Using positive reinforcement and a deep understanding of canine behavior, Julie helps owners build trust, confidence, and clear communication with their dogs. Her goal is simple: to bridge the communication gap between dogs and people, creating lasting partnerships built on understanding.

Red River Obedience and Training Club offers new classes every month to help you train your dog! Puppies as young as months old are welcome to begin training with us. In 2007 I attended E-Collar Specialists training with Sit Means Sit in Denver, Co. I completed Training Helper Techniques through East Coast K-9 and certified as Schutzhund USA helper through Ark-La-Tex Schutzhund Club. I am a member of the International Association of Canine Professionals. We have now evolved into In Control Dog Training, the most recognized and recommended dog training company in the greater New Orleans area.

Our 8 week basic group classes are held in Metairie. Google listing refuses to list our location as "Metairie," and won't allow it to be changed to the CORRECT LOCATION of METAIRIE. However, we ARE in Metairie, and serve the New Orleans and surrounding areas.

We offer training, boarding, pet sitting and daycare services to Denham Springs and the surrounding areas. We love animals and have been very blessed to be able to work with them on a daily basis.
