Ann Becnel Companion Dogs

When I finally got a new puppy last year, I wasted no time reaching out to Ann about puppy kindergarten and canine good citizen classes for our baby. She is a fantastic and patient trainer and I cannot recommend her highly enough! Our Evie loves going to "dog school". She's come a long way and I am grateful for Ann's expertise, helping us to help Evie become a well behaved and relaxed dog. Her first field trip today was a huge success! We are certain to keep up classes even beyond when she finally achieves CGC - there is always more for us to learn and Ann is a great teacher. I first met Ann many years ago when I was lucky enough to be the veterinarian for her Italian Greyhounds. A good trainer is a must for ANY dog owner and Ann is a great trainer!! I'm happy to have experienced her classes and one on one training first hand after recommending her to clients for many years. I highly recommend!

Ann is such a fantastic trainer. We used her years ago for a private at home session for help integrating a new rescue dog who was chasing our cat and after one session, the dog and cat have gotten along fantastic ever since once we used the tools she showed us to help them get along. We recently got a new rescue dog, and wanted to try training classes in a group setting for him and thought of Ann. We signed him up for the Canine Good Citizen classes. They covered a wide range of topics and have been very helpful. Ann is knowledgeable and has solutions for training that cover different learning styles for dogs - she gave us many versions of how to train the stay command so we could find one that really worked with our dog. Our dog Chet did pass his Canine Good Citizen test, and we are going to sign him up for another round of classes during the summer, because the classes are so fun both for him and for us, too. We look forward to continuing to train to advance his skills even further! We would recommend Ann’s classes and private lessons to anyone looking for any type of dog training - she truly has seen so many situations and really cares about solving problems with the dogs in a positive way. We are so happy we found Anne Becnel. We started with puppy kindergarten with hopes for our Annie Oakley to become a service dog. After her and I passed the good citizen class she went with Anne full time private. She loves her training as Anne always finds ways to try to keep her attention 😂. She has worked very hard to fit our dogs service training to my moms needs. Taking her places and doing real life situations that my mom and Annie will encounter. We look forward to continued work with Anne while our baby becomes fully serviced dog trained, and after as Anne will always be an important part of annies life!

Anne is the most encouraging trainer. Whenever I feel like throwing in the towel and giving up she says and teaches me the perfect answer to my dilemma.also she taught me to never give up .I have been training with her my service dog in training Jacques since he arrived and actually she is so helpful too with choosing a good candidate for service animal.more than two thumbs up for her positive reinforcement technique
