Walking With Walter Dog Training

I left my 10 month old Sheepadoodle Watson with Lawren for a two week board and train program and have been absolutely amazed with his progress even months past his training! Lawren is extremely knowledgeable in his training experience and has the ability to pass the knowledge on to the owners as well. I will continue to use Lawren for years to come for guidance and continued training for all of my dogs/puppies!

I called Lawren back in the fall of 2018, as I was interested in having my then-2 year old lab trained. Actually, I was wanting a board-and-train situation, as I had recently broken my foot and I felt it was the perfect time to have her trained while I recuperated from surgery. Lawren agreed to do this, and had my girl for 2 weeks, and, wow-- what an improvement in her behavior I saw after those 2 weeks! He taught her how to calm down, and had her responding well to his commands. I work from home, and my clients were also very impressed with the huge difference in her behavior. Many commented on how much calmer she seemed, and how well she was behaving. It's also much easier walking her now than it was prior to her stay with Lawren. I have happily given Lawren's name to others who are interested in finding a high-quality dog (and owner!) trainer. I am definitely pleased that I chose Lawren Bennett and his business, Walking with Walter, to shape my lab into a well-behaved, happy member of the family.

We left our 1 year old Bordoodle with Lawren for a week of board and train. Our Millie is sweet but crazy as puppies are prone to be. Walking and barking were our biggest challenges. Lawren had Millie walking sanely both on and off leash within a few days. She has learned command words and even better - responds quickly to them. We can take her anywhere and know that she is controlled and under command. People stop us regularly to tell us what a great dog she is and how did we achieve it. She is a happy playful dog. I can not speak highly enough of Lawren (and Doug) and what they have achieved with our dog. -Kris

Lawren was so incredible to work with. His knowledge about dog behavior and how he teaches you the dog owner to better train your dog was incredible experience. I reached out to Walking with Walter after I adopted a dog from the pound, and not knowing what I was getting into I wanted to arm myself with techniques to better train my new friend. Lawren did that and more. Now walks are so enjoyable, no more pulling, no more barking, my guy is becoming the perfect dog and for that I cannot thank Lawren enough.
