Unleashed Academy

We truly can’t say enough good things about our experience at Unleashed Academy. We brought in our 5 month old French Bulldog Koza to Puppy Kindergarten — and to be honest, we were doing everything “wrong” before we got there. We treated her like a baby, weren’t consistent with training, and let her sleep in our bed. She was stubborn, and we were feeling overwhelmed. We didn’t just need training for her. We needed a reset for us. From the very first class, the trainer made us feel empowered and informed. She was incredibly knowledgeable and explained things in a way that actually made sense — not just “how” to do something, but “why” it works. She broke everything down in a way that felt simple and achievable. Even when we had a million questions, she never rushed us. Every behavior had a reason behind it, and every correction had purpose. The trainer can show us what to do and why, but without our follow-through and consistency, nothing changes. Because she’s stubborn by breed, we knew training wouldn’t be easy—but the right guidance made all the difference and we’re so grateful.

We adopted our guy at 4 years old. He had almost no socialization. He would get so anxious when he would look out the window everything near it would be destroyed. He had aggression and leash pulling issues. After 2 weeks at unleashed he's happier and so are we. No more barking or destruction. Walking on the leash is a dream. Trips to the dog park are anxiety free. Training is ongoing but we now know how to speak his language and that's huge!

Unleashed Academy is fantastic. We have down two programs now with them. The group beginner class and a board and train program. Our life has gotten so much better and so has our pups. We can take Rhett to dog parks now when we could never imagine before. Matt did a fantastic job with passing on the training to us he did with Rhett and Mary is so hopeful in answering any and all questions we have! I can’t recommend them enough!

We just completed our private lessons with our 5yo Newfypoo , Charlie. Mary is very knowledgeable and patient. We learned so much and will continue to train Charlie with what we learned until she masters the skills! Thank you to Dolly and Clark for the playtimes and helping Charlie learn! We suggest including as many family members as possible in on the training journey, it makes a huge difference when everyone is on the same page.
