I don't know what Cassian and I would've done without Amy's help. Cass is a VERY high energy rescue pittie pup that I felt in over my head with. Through virtual consultations and in person lessons, Amy taught me how to give him the outlets he needs to expend that energy and so much more. She saw my pup as the individual that he is, and adjusted his training to what works best for him. I feel that Cass and I are now well on our way to a very happy life together. I would definitely recommend Amy and Understanding Fido to anyone looking for any help with training their dog.

Amy of Understanding Fido is a fantastic trainer of people and their dogs. She provided me with a fundamental and easily repeatable process to help my puppy understand and obey my requests. Amy is patient and kind, and I definitely recommend her!

Amy really does understand Fido!! I can't recommend Amy highly enough. We've had multiple dogs, but never a puppy. Amy was wonderful to work with acclimating our new pup to the house, family, and neighbors. Thank you Amy!!!

We had such a great experience with Understanding Fido. When I first called Amy and had to leave a message she was very prompt to call me back. We talked and I loved the way she explained the process to getting our puppy Piper trained. I booked her for the consultation and she came to our house.
Piper loved her from the minute she met Amy. We initially booked 3 sessions, but quickly realized we would need more so we booked another 3 lessons. Piper had 6 lessons in total and we learned so much and Piper loved playing and getting treats during learning which made it fun. Amy was very patient with Piper and us as we also had to learn the process as well.
Piper will now sit, settle, come, stay, walk on leash without pulling and a few other tricks when asked to do them. Piper absolutely loved Amy. We would definitely recommend her.
