NEED A DEMON DOG SLAYER??? Call Amy @ Understanding Fido. I did. You should get 2 Frenchies, so they can play together. LOL Our French Bulldog #1 is Piglet. Piglet is a sweet, energetic, silly girl. She was very easy to train and is a joy to be around. Piglet adapted very well to our family and other pets. Our daily schedules blended with ease. So…… We get French Bulldog #2. Brewzer. He is also known as Demon Dog 2.0. We ASSumed that Brewzer would be just like Piglet. Big mistake. We started training Brewzer with Piglet. Big mistake. We ASSumed that Brewzer was an energetic boy. Big mistake. We ASSumed and WE created Demon Dog 2.0. We made a big mistake. We called Amy when Brewzer was about 5 months old. He was angry and moody. He’d been aggressive towards Piglet. He’d been aggressive to us and our cats. He would resource guard, toy guard, food guard. He was jealous of the other pets. We created every bad habit he has, by not paying attention to HIM. We ASSumed he was like Piglet and should not have. With Amy’s demon dog slaying skills, she has de-coded that Brewzer is a VERY sweet, LAZY, LAZY, LAZY, silly boy! Brewzer will sleep until noon. Then he will take TWO power naps 1-3pm and 5-6pm. Then he is off to bed at 9:30pm. All the boy wants to do is sleep! Brewzer was trying to keep up with Piglet/Our schedule and it was making him an ANGRY, TIRED boy. Fast forward many months. We are still working with Amy “The Demon Dog Slayer”Cranmer. Our phone call to Amy saved Brewzer’s life. We were on our last nerves with Brew when we called Amy. Amy has given us the right guidance to correct our mistakes with Brewzer. If you have an unruly pooch or a demon dog like Brew, call Amy. Amy is willing to jump into NASTY POND WATER for YOUR sinking bowling ball! She is Awesome, gets results and is really an UNDERSTANDING FIDO expert.

When we adopted Carbon Fiber, everything the rescue told us about him was very wrong. Takes cues from dogs. Wrong. Doesn't chew. Wrong. Calm and cuddly. Somewhat wrong. Does well on a leash. Very wrong. We had a very rough few weeks with him, including me becoming his chew toy - lots of bruises all over my body. And what was worse, he didn't gel well with my other dogs. We were thisclose to giving him back. But we knew he was special and he needed the home we could give him but we had to get him trained. And then came two big life events at the same time - I was having 2 major surgeries and my husband was being deployed at the same time. We knew that if something didn't change, we were definitely going to have to give him back. Enter Understanding Fido and the Amazing Amy. When I say that over the course of seven training sessions, there is a night and day difference with Carbon Fiber, I am not exaggerating at all. Chewing is under control, he is getting along with my other dogs, I can walk him without being dragged, he comes to me when he is called, and he is my big cuddle bug. Don't get me wrong, there is a lot of work that he and I both had to put in - but Amy provided me with so many tools for my bag to help him adjust properly and become the calm and adoring and loving dog he is today. And we were right - Carbon Fiber is something special and he is a great member of our family. Thank you, Amy! You are amazing and we are so much better for all of your help!

i can't say enough good things about Amy! She fostered my puppy before I got her and the habits she came to me with told me we needed to learn more. She's helped so much with how to navigate those typical puppy issues so that she's not eating the whole house, which my pup would like to do! But the house is still standing ;) I can't imagine having a new puppy and not having the skills Amy has helped us with.
