True Canine Training

True Canine Training is AMAZING!! Sent my 5mnth old lab, Kevin. To the (2)week long board and train with Ben at True Canine! && I have nothing but great things to say about this company and the guys who run it!! After 2 weeks my dog came back a completely different dog. Completely obedient,and very calm. I can bring him anywhere and he behaves great!! Ben was great and was very informative, and continues to help whenever I need. The communication was wonderful and these guys love your dog like their own while in their care. VERY happy 10/10 Thanks again Ben & True Canine!

We are so happy with the results of our Rip’s board and train! Ben is so amazing and patient with Rip and his humans! I cannot express how grateful I am to have such a well behaved dog that I can take everywhere with us and trust that he will listen. Before sending Rip to Ben, I was at a loss and so frustrated. I was hesitant about sending Rip away for so long and was worried he might lose his spunk and personality. But I am so glad we went ahead with the training. What we got back was so much more than I could have imagined! He is such a fun dog now and has a very clear picture of his job and boundaries. He’s my walking buddy, my hiking partner, my best friend! Thank you Ben! We are definitely a forever client!

I cannot begin to tell you how much Ben helped me with my dog. Before I decided to bring my dog Stanley to a board and train at True Canine, I did a lot of shopping around for a board and train program. During the first phone call with Ben, we talked for about 30 minutes, and I immediately knew this was the guy to train my dog. My dog is a very high energy breed (Half Belgian Malinois), and I was having a really hard time keeping him in line any time another person he knew was around. He also would get super overwhelmed in certain social situations and my least favorite trait was he would run and jump onto people at almost full speed. This was not ok as he saw my elderly parents often and would sometime break skin with his nails or his playful gnawing. Stan was with Ben for about 2.5 weeks, and he came back a much more manageable dog while still very much maintaining his personality (I was worried he would return and be almost robotic without a personality). He no longer would jump on people, he walked on leash with zero amount of pulling even if we approached his favorite people/dogs, and although I trusted Stanley off leash for the most part prior to training, I could now keep him in a heel walking at my side whenever I wanted to. He trained him to use a treadmill for those hot Arizona summer days where it is hard to get out for exercise, and his “place” command is so solid I can finally eat a meal in peace while he lays on his bed and waits for me to release him. I’m not the only person who has had great luck with Ben either. I was recommended to him by a friend who brought their golden retriever there and they had just as much to say about him. I would recommend True Canine to anyone looking for a trainer. In fact, I already have Stanley set up for a board and refresh for a week while I go out of town this Christmas (Another perk to training with Ben, he can board your dog in the future for a fee).

Great experience with the board and refresh training. I have 2 Frenchies and anytime I plan on traveling, I will now only entrust Brenden with my dogs. His service is high quality, convenient and affordable. While the dogs are in his care, he trains, exercises and give all the special attention needed, around the clock. Brendan and his team are the best. You can tell they are truly passionate about what they do.
