True Canine Training

We adopted a 3.5 yr old terrier who was “rehomed” by his original owner. He had never been on a leash before and barked uncontrollably when anyone came to the house. Ben worked with us and him and it made all the difference in the world! We can’t say enough good things about how helpful it’s been and how dramatically our pup’s behavior has changed. I don’t know if we would have been able to keep him had we not had Ben’s help. If you have a dog whose behavior you haven’t been able to modify, we recommend Ben unreservedly !

My dog Roscoe went to board and train with Ben for 2 weeks to focus on his food aggression. He came back a way better well managed puppy. I was scared of him around food before he went and now I can feed him with no issues. It is still a work in progress but I’m so happy with his results so far. Ben was amazing with his updates while he was at training and always answers any of my questions. Ben has already been back once for a follow up visit and is planning to come for a second one. He is very patient with training not only my dog but also me. I can’t thank him enough! 5/5 recommend this place.

I am so greatful for True Canine Taining. If it wasn't for them I might have had to have my dog put down. He became aggressive and it was difficult to even walk him. He wanted to bite anyone that came near him and fight with other dogs. After some extensive research I came across True Canine Trainings web site. Even though my dog had developed some issues the trainer I spoke to reassured me he could help him. He could give me back the loving good natured dog I had. And that is exactly what he did plus so much more. Ben is an unbelievable trainer. Almost like he speaks dog. He knows so much about their behavior and why they develop the bad habits they do and how to correct it. You couldnt ask for anyone better . I was reluctant to send my dog for 3 weeks I had never been separated from him that long. But Ben took such good care of him. Loved on him and played with too. Ben has been helping us for about three months now with my special needs sisters dog. Jasmine is a German Shepard who ended up homeless and Needing to keep her guard up 24/7. Very aggressive in the beginning! Currently she more anxious than aggressive. I was told by a vet that it would take six months to a year to become a healthy member of our household. We have a big family with 7 people and 4 dogs including Jasmine and it's not a big house. I have high hopes that Jasmine will be a great dog again soon with Ben's help! Jasmine is currently doing boarding while we are on vacation and we look forward to seeing her progress when we are back at home. This company really cares about the dogs & families they work with!
