This was by far the best experience/money spent on my pup Larry. Larry was kinda chaos lol with no direction. Now I can communicate much better with him. Sam is amazing and Larry has become such a better dog with a few lessons. Larry learned a ton and I also learned what I needed to know about training with my first pup. Gonna keep doing lessons and can say Sam is the best trainer in Tahoe! Thank you!

Sam trained Patán, my Pitbull Mix 5 months old puppy, a dog with a lot of energy that needed to learn manners. Sam listened what I wanted to achieve and we worked those goals in 6 lessons. I was teaching myself specific tasks to Patán to make him a Service dog but we wouldn’t be successful without the behavioral training with Sam. Right after our last lesson with him Patán and I were able to fly together on a plane. Thank you Sam! Patán and I are very happy to have you as a trainer 🙂

Absolutely train with Sam with Trail Dog Etiquette! The best decision I’ve made for my relationship with my dog. Wanted to work primarily on off leash recall and behavior, and within 4 sessions I feel so much more confident and prepared to have him out and about safely in Tahoe. Sam explains things in a way that is easy to understand and I feel like I got trained just as well as Norm did. Game changer in terms of understanding the psychology of working together with your pup. I was hesitant prior to use tools to train, but Sam provided some solid suggestions that have made life a ton easier for both of us in a super positive way. I trusted his expertise and would absolutely do it all over again. Thank you Sam!!!

Sam trained my dog, Honey, and worked with us on her behavioral issues. He was great at explaining and teaching his techniques, so I can learn how to implement them with Honey. After consistent lessons with Sam, Honey has improved drastically! He also trained us with off-leash walking and Honey now has great recall. Sam is such a gifted and talented dog trainer and I’m so grateful for his help. I guarantee anyone who works with Sam will see major improvement with their dog!
