Sam is an amazing dog trainer! Banjo was completely out of control before we started training with Sam. I signed up for a total of 6 lessons, and by the end, Banjo is now a completely different dog. Sam really takes the time to understand your dog (and you!), and his approach is both gentle and highly effective. In a very short period of time, Banjo has become remarkably better on and off leash, as well as understanding and obeying commands. Sam has given me the tips and tools Banjo and I both needed for success. I am forever grateful! If you find yourself in need of a good dog trainer, look no further, Sam is the best!

We can’t express how grateful we are for Sam - When we first got our rescue pup, we weren’t aware of some of her behavioral challenges. Stevie, our dog, was so sweet at home but we quickly learned she was aggressive toward strangers and extremely reactive toward other dogs. We desperately researched trainers and decided to give Sam’s services a try. Flash forward 8 sessions later - you would think she is a new dog!! Stevie can even be off leash, with reliable recall, and walk past or WITH other dogs and people with no issue. We now have a dog that receives compliments on her behavior - I didn’t think this was possible. All thanks to Sam, his recommendations to us and to Stevie - we can enjoy hikes, breweries, beaches, and off leash life as a family. Can’t recommend this guy enough!!

Let me start by saying that BEFORE meeting Sam we spent thousands on high rated trainers with results that were either not sustainable or traumatized our dogs with penny cans, so I was skeptical when my pregnant wife wanted to give it another go with somebody new. Sam was the 5th trainer we've tried over the past two years. Our dogs were still out of control, barking and lunging at other dogs and wild animals, and it wasn't going to work with a baby on the way. AFTER about eight lessons with Sam and adopting his highly intuitive and non-harmful STIM collar approach, we can finally control both of our dogs with confidence and consistency. We also all had fun!!!
