The Spot 4 Dogs Scenic City

I took my miniature schnauzer, Darby, who is three years old to The Spot 4 Dogs. She is a rescue and had recently gone through two eye surgeries that resulted in her being blind in one eye. Darby was unruly at home and did not respond to any commands, Jake was amazing with her; he went above and beyond to teach her. She now knows her commands and is a changed dog. I highly recommend Jake and The Spot 4 Dogs.

Couldn't be a more thrilled and satisfield customer!! Very very good!! We put our dog through the 3 week board and train program. Before he went in, my wife would not take him for walks due to the way he would react to both people and dogs. It was impossible to have people over to the house. After he came back from his vacation he was changed - a totally different dog!! My wife now walks him without any concern and I will walk him without a leash when allowed!! People can also come over to the house. This was the third trainer we had taken our dog to and Jake was never doubtful that a very friendly dog existed inside the ball of barks, growls and charges!! The other trainers really didn't seem interested at taking him on. They dismissed us with a you need to work with him at home on things that we couldn't ever get started on. From the moment we walked into the Spot 4 dogs, Jakes demeanor was calm, dog friendly and reassuring. We had no hesitation going with his recommendation of the 3 week board and train.

We recently had the pleasure of working with Jake from State Farm... (No, actually Jake from The Spot 4 Dogs Chattanooga). ;-) Our 6-month-old pup really connected with him, and it made it easier to let her go for a 3-week boot camp. He used positive reinforcement techniques, which made a huge difference in Petunia’s behavior, and we noticed improvements almost immediately. Jake took the extra time to understand Petunia’s specific needs and tailored the training program accordingly. Her professionalism and dedication to helping her were evident in every interaction. Thanks to Jake, Petunia has made significant progress. She no longer is a big door-dasher, which was a scary thing, but now... it is not an issue at all. The transformation has been remarkable. Because of the change in our pup, we highly recommend 'The Spot 4 Dogs' Chattanooga to anyone looking for a skilled and compassionate dog trainer.

We took our dachshund to training not expecting much since these dogs are cute and smart but theirs don't seem to work. Wow!, were we wrong. Don't think that dachshunds can't be trained. Jake did a great job with Mattie! She came home yesterday, and we had people come in and comment about how well behaved she was and how she wasn't hurting their ears with her barking. We would highly recommend Jake and The Spot 4 Dogs!
