The Reliable Dog

We were at the end of our rope when we found Ian/ the reliable dog. Our 5 month old golden doodle Jack has anxiety issues. We would leave to go to work and come home with a soaking wet, stressed out dog. the Reliable Dog has given us all the tools we need to fix him. Ian is so good at explaining why Jack does certain behaviors and goes in depth on how to fix them. Not to mention responds to my silly paragraph texts about jacks issues. Ian is extremely reliable (no pun intended) and responsive. We cannot recommend The Reliable Dog more. Thank you!!!

I was having trouble with my 4 year old ACD mix, who has a ton of energy and is very stubborn. She was very reactive towards other dogs, and I could tell it was starting to become a problem during our walks. I was really pulling my hair out, and even had other dog trainers tell me they were unwilling to work with me and my dog on this issue. However, I finally found Reliable Dog and did their summer bootcamp. I cannot express how much better my dog is now on walks. She no longer pulls or reacts to other dogs. Her attention is laser focused on me, and our relationship has improved so much! Now we can have puppy playdates without any issues, and I no longer find walks stressful. I highly recommend this trainer!

Ian is great to work with! He really cares about what’s best for the people and dogs he works with. We did the 2 week board and train for our very anxious, rescue, chocolate lab. The progress he made in that time was fantastic. Ian has continued to check in on us and has been back twice to help with a problem we were having with our training collar. Our other dog has gone on several of the hike and train sessions and we’ve seen improvement in him as well. I would definitely recommend The Reliable Dog!

I have a darling 1 year old mini berne-doodle. Before training, she was out of control. She has a very bouncy & energetic personality. 45 lb. of muscle, she jumped and mouthed on everyone she'd meet, knocked my husband down twice, would body slam me from behind my knees when when I didn't expect it, to get my attention, chewed on me like I was a chew toy, & dragged me down the street when walking her. After 4 training sessions with Ian at my house, she is a transformed dog. She now greets everyone without jumping or chewing, is very polite, doesn’t jump on me during play, comes whenever I call her, doesn’t chew on me anymore, and walks by my side on our daily hikes. My family and friends cannot believe what a sweet & well-mannered dog she is now. Every person with a new puppy should train with Ian. He teaches you how to actually communicate with your dog. It’s so amazing! Today, she is a well behaved little lady with no craziness, thanks to training with Reliable Dog.
