The Proper Puppy PNW

We left our 11 month German Shorthaired Pointer with Lori for a one-month board and train, and we couldn’t be more satisfied with the results! She worked on heeling during walks, impulse control, and greeting new people, and she accomplished all that and more. Not only did our dog return with significantly improved manners and responsiveness, but he also received plenty of love and care while staying in Lori’s warm home. It was clear that she treated him like family, making the experience both effective and comforting. Lori’s expertise, patience, and dedication truly made a difference, and we highly recommend her training program to anyone looking for lasting results with their dog!

Our 9 month old German Shepherd puppy, Siren, recently came home from her 6 week board and train stay with Lori. Siren is purely from working lines, and even with her ever apparent stubbornness, Lori clearly had no issues breaking through with her and she came home a completely different dog. Siren now has the confidence in herself to help get through her fear stages and show off the entirety of her personality, while Lori gave us the tools to keep a working line dog stimulated, both mentally and physically. Our six week board and train included an in-home follow-up visit in which we were able to hone in on the things Siren wanted to push the limit on once she came home. Her communication throughout Siren's stay and consistent, helpful videos have given us a virtual bookcase that guides us through any scenario we could possibly encounter with Siren. She trained us as much as she trained our puppy, and now we can reap the benefits for the rest of Siren's life. I couldn't recommend Lori and the Proper Puppy PNW more - she's honestly the best.

I came to Lori by word of mouth cause she came highly recommended and she not only live up to that recommendation but for me and my Obasi surpassed it. Lori came to my place for the first meeting and within minutes she had my little guy not only laying on his bed but like sitting there as well as going into his crate. I opted for her in home training and for me it was well worth it. Her videos of my pups progress was just amazing and his return to me I can't believe it. Lori's guidance over two years was instrumental in our progress with Kylo, and I still learn from my mistakes with him.
