The Proper Puppy PNW

Lori is an AMAZING trainer, demonstrating her knowledge and experience through connections with each dog that comes to her! We brought our BIG deaf puppy in for a board & train stay, and she sent us consistent updates through messages and video to show what her process is, what we should expect our pup to recognize for commands, and trained her to use an eCollar, which makes communicating with our dog so much easier! It was amazing to see the difference in a few weeks, and to know that she was training, caring for, and loving our pup throughout the process. We consistently recommend Lori and The Proper Puppy to anyone we meet who is looking for support in training their puppy, reactive, or stubborn dogs. Now, we have zero worries with WInnie out in public responding to hand commands/the eCollar, and she has been absolutely amazingly well-behaved since. We get so many compliments on her behavior, and always reference the amazing training Lori provided. Well worth the time and money. I cannot recommend her enough!!

Our 1 year old dog, Ross, stayed with Lori for a four week board and train and we were so impressed! He is an incredibly anxious and emotional guy and Lori made adjustments in his training to give him the most comfort and best experience. Her communication is clear and consistent and we were never worried about the care he was receiving while with her! Post-training, Ross came back so well mannered. He heels well on walks, recalls, and stopped unwanted behaviors all while showing incredible basic obedience on a daily basis. We left the take home sessions feeling prepared to continue the use of his e-collar and communication system that he was taught during his stay. We are so happy with how Ross is doing and the happy, well mannered pup he has become! We’re so impressed and grateful for Lori!
