The K9 Consultant

You guys, I can’t say enough good things about this company. Widdle and Poe were pretty out of control (bad parenting, yes, I know 🤦🏻‍♀️) and they went and spent some time with the awesome trainers at The K9 Consultant while we went out of town. At first, my stubborn little doodles were giving their trainers a run for their money; so much so that they even ended up keeping Poe for an extra week! My puppies have been back for 1 and 2 weeks now, and the difference is completely astounding! Mickey and the other trainers have gotten my puppies to the point where I can give them more freedoms because I know they are under control! My household is exponentially calmer and more pleasant because they respond to direction! Their eating and potty times are even easier now! If you’ve ever had a Goldendoodle you know they are so sweet and loving but also more hard-headed and stubborn than should be possible; it’s like trying to get a brick wall to do what you want. There is no way I could have trained these guys on my own; I will forever be thankful for all the trainers at The K9 Consultant who put in the time and energy to get my pups to this point!

Can not say enough positive things about K-9 Consultant! Our Otto had so much energy, was knocking our kids down, counter surfing, stealing food, play biting, pulling me down the street on his leash, “nuisance behavior”, did not respect boundaries or the word “no”, etc etc. We knew we had to do something and were very skeptical that it would work. From the initial consult to the day they brought our pup home, we were blown away. Not only were they responsive, encouraging, and effective with the training itself; they went above and beyond to patiently answer all my questions & concerns along the way. We even got photos and updates on how our boy was doing, which made us feel at ease. Jeremie, his wife, and Chase were incredible. We noticed a difference as soon as he got out of the K-9 van, and his overall disposition is so much better. He’s the same pup we know & love but with MANNERS and attentiveness/desire to obey. We are very impressed with the quality of care and diligence Mickey and the crew at K9 consultant put into our cane corso, Kratos! His behavior problems were almost out of control for how big he is and will be when fully grown. After 2 weeks with Mickey, I can honestly say that I enjoy my dog again! I’m even more thankful that Mickey took the time and effort to come back a few weeks after training to check in and provide a refresher course on his continued training and provide recommendations for any minor behavioral issues he still has!
