The K9 Consultant

We secured a spot for our pup for training while planning to be gone on vacation... and then a family medical emergency popped up requiring us to leave town earlier than expected, and for longer than originally planned. Jamie and Mickey fit our boy in without hesitation and kept him as long as we needed to be away. Not only did he come home with better manners/training but Mickey also sent this anxious pup mama photos/videos when requested to ease my heart of having left him. We are so thankful to have had him cared for so well while we were gone, and to come home to a better behaved dog that we can now take on neighborhood walks and with us to restaurant patios as a full-fledged family member!

It is rare that I write reviews for anything, until having the life changing experience of sending my 5 month old Rottweiler puppy to The K-9 Consultant! Before sending him for his two week board and train, every day was stressful! The dream I had of having a well behaved pet that could settle down in the house and come when called just seemed out of reach at this point. After one call to Jeremie, he assured me that I most definitely could achieve that dream. So I didn’t lose hope! Everything from scheduling the two week board and train, to the pick up, the whole board and train process, and then the drop off was so stress-free and very punctual. On pick up day, my puppy absolutely loved Jennifer, she sat and played with him and made sure he was comfortable. During the two week span, I would receive pictures and updates on his progress and he always looked like he was having a great time playing and learning! Drop off day soon arrived and I was very excited to see what progress my puppy had made. Jeremie patiently and thoroughly explained all the commands, how to properly execute them, and answered any other questions I had! It has been several weeks now since arriving home and I finally have my dream dog! He is now calmly able to walk through the whole house with me, is very attentive to my commands and is able to perform and hold every command from sit, down, stay, come, heel, and place. One simple no, is now all that it takes for him to understand that behaviors like trying to take things off the tables and counters or trying to get into the trash can are not allowed. Sending my pup to The K-9 Consultant was absolutely one of the best decisions I could have made! The whole team is excellent and I definitely felt comfortable sending my pup to them! They did more than just train my dog to be very adept in all aspects of obedience, they brought me back a dog that is now an absolute joy to share the house with! I can not thank them enough and would highly recommend them to anyone that has a dog in need of some training in any aspect!

From the first phone call all the way through to the on site owner home training, Jeremie & Mickey were extremely professional and excellent communicators. Consistent, honest, and timely feedback daily during board & train session. These gentleman treat and love on the dogs in their care as if they are each their own. From picture updates to texts and phone calls, you are kept up to date with your dogs progress throughout the entire program. The K9 Consultant Team are the best of the best. Cannot recommend them enough!

We signed up our pup for the 2 week board and train with K9 Consultant. We were impressed from the beginning! The communication prior to our dog going was great. We got plenty of updates while our dog was there! And our dog is doing amazing since getting back home! We received a great home training when our dog was brought back home. They are so kind, caring and definitely love your dog! Everything was professional and I cannot recommend them enough! They are excellent at what they do and clearly love and care for dogs. We are so happy with the training our dog received!

Our Cane Corso, Dulany stayed 2 weeks at The K9 Consultant in November of this year. I was amazed how Jeremy completely changed the behavior of Dulany. She is very well behaved, and knows her commands. I was really had some doubts how Jeremy was going to teach Dulany Anything in 2 weeks, however he did, beyond my wildest expectations.
