What ages of dogs can you train at The Academy for Canine Behavior and Training?
We train dogs at any age, from young puppies to senior dogs. Private lessons are open to dogs of all ages, and we tailor each program to your dog’s age, breed, and individual behavior needs. For our Board & Train program, dogs must be at least 4 months old. Beyond that, there is no dog too old for training — we work with adolescent, adult, and senior dogs every day. If your dog needs early socialization, obedience, or a full behavior reset, we’ll help you choose the right program for their stage of life.

How much does board and train cost in Tupelo?
Our Board & Train programs start at $1,820 for basic training. Pricing increases based on the level of training you choose. We also create custom programs when a dog requires additional time or specialized behavioral work. Do you accept puppies in daycare in Tupelo?
Yes, we welcome puppies 4 months and older into our daycare program as long as they are appropriately vaccinated. At this age, puppies are developmentally ready for structured socialization, clear boundaries, and calm play around other dogs. My experience with The Academy for Canines, was like no other. This establishment impressed me from the moment I walked in the front door. All the staff were very friendly and was extremely clean. The academy has become a staple in our daily routine with both of our dogs going to day care. My younger dog I put in basic training and just brought him home a couple days ago. I am so impressed with how well he is listening to me now! I will be in full support of telling anybody about my experience and letting them know this is the place you need to take your dogs!
This was a great experience. Proud of our boy, he learned so much- and so did we! We were prepared with education, resources, and equipment to make sure our boy continues to learn with us.

Excellent training services! Bryan is so knowledgeable and communicative. He tailored a training approach for our dog, her behavioral issues, and our family's circumstances. He did an excellent job implementing it and ensured we feel confident to continue the techniques on our own. Our dog is totally transformed! She's calmer and happier, and I am looking forward to walks now! I can't recommend TACBT enough.
The training staff was professional , knowledgeable, and skillful, as well as being very patient and customer friendly! They have trained two dogs for us and through their kind approach helped them become beloved members of our family! I enthusiastically recommend this Academy to anyone especially those needing corrective training!
