What ages of dogs can you train at The Academy for Canine Behavior and Training?
We train dogs at any age, from young puppies to senior dogs. Private lessons are open to dogs of all ages, and we tailor each program to your dog’s age, breed, and individual behavior needs. For our Board & Train program, dogs must be at least 4 months old. Beyond that, there is no dog too old for training — we work with adolescent, adult, and senior dogs every day. If your dog needs early socialization, obedience, or a full behavior reset, we’ll help you choose the right program for their stage of life.

How much does board and train cost in Tupelo?
Our Board & Train programs start at $1,820 for basic training. Pricing increases based on the level of training you choose. We also create custom programs when a dog requires additional time or specialized behavioral work. Do you accept puppies in daycare in Tupelo?
Yes, we welcome puppies 4 months and older into our daycare program as long as they are appropriately vaccinated. At this age, puppies are developmentally ready for structured socialization, clear boundaries, and calm play around other dogs. Our trained staff ensures a safe, supervised environment so young dogs build confidence and good habits from the start. If you’re unsure whether your puppy is ready, we’re happy to help you decide.

I have had dogs in my life consistently since I was fourteen (14) years old. Consequently, I have had experience with dog trainers in Texas, Alabama, and Mississippi. Bryan and his team take the PRIZE for competency, caring, and were able to transfer leadership skills to us. Am I a Bryan or a team member? No. But I am moving in that direction. TACBT has the capacity not only to train your dog, but to train you to continue the training over the lifetime of your dog. Bryan and his team just spent a couple of weeks with two of my Standard Poodles. (I have five -- and a miniature long-haired Dachshund.) Time and $$ well spent. I would highly recommend TACBT. I trust their methods and their suggested techniques. The remote enhancement collar is a change-maker. I cannot thank TACBT enough; nor can I give the accolades they deserve.
Bryan and his team are incredible! Our two standard poodles learned so much and so did we. We are now in control not the doggies. Thanks so much!!

We could not be more impressed with our experience with The Academy for Canine Behavior and Training! Our 7 month old border collie, Tilly made incredible progress with all the basic obedience skills. She came into the program knowing lots of cool tricks but totally ignoring us with basic commands. Now, she’s super easy to take to the park and we’ve even had a few restaurant patio experiences that made us look like total dog people 😂. The place command is also a total game changer as we’re relaxing around the house in the evenings. Nick, Madi and Bryan are all top notch trainers that are truly invested in not only the dog but the family as well. The contact and support we’ve received since graduation has been great. In the future, we plan to take advantage of the free Saturday group lessons. ⭐️ Totally 5 STARS in all categories ⭐️
Our 1 year old Frenchie was a wild and crazy dog! After 2 weeks of training, she was returned to us as a different dog! She had become extremely aggressive and attacking our 10 year old frenchie. We had tried everything we had been advised to do with no results. We now live in peace with the tools to stop problem behaviors . Thank you Nick and Bryan for Training us!
