What ages of dogs can you train at The Academy for Canine Behavior and Training?

We train dogs at any age, from young puppies to senior dogs. Private lessons are open to dogs of all ages, and we tailor each program to your dog’s age, breed, and individual behavior needs. For our Board & Train program, dogs must be at least 4 months old. Beyond that, there is no dog too old for training — we work with adolescent, adult, and senior dogs every day. If your dog needs early socialization, obedience, or a full behavior reset, we’ll help you choose the right program for their stage of life.

How much does board and train cost in Tupelo?

Our Board & Train programs start at $1,820 for basic training. Pricing increases based on the level of training you choose. We also create custom programs when a dog requires additional time or specialized behavioral work. Do you accept puppies in daycare in Tupelo?

Yes, we welcome puppies 4 months and older into our daycare program as long as they are appropriately vaccinated. At this age, puppies are developmentally ready for structured socialization, clear boundaries, and calm play around other dogs. Bryan and the other trainers worked with my dog, Milo for a 2 week custom program. Everyone there was very friendly and it was a professional operation. It was a very good experience and Milo made a lot of progress in 2 weeks. Bryan is very interactive and keeps you updated throughout the whole process. I give it a full recommendation!

It has been two days since we picked up our eight month old puppy from his enhanced training program and the training has made our good boy an even better boy! The entire team has been wonderful, keeping us updated on our pup’s progress and loving him like he was their own. Our pup learned so much from Bryan and his team, and it shows!

We had the best experience with The Academy for Canine Behavior &Training. We took Sadie our cavapoo for a two week on-site boarding & training. We received daily interaction videos from Bryan. We are so pleased with her progress & could not recommend this experience enough!
