If I tell you that the training my 21 mo old Brittany received at SFDT was life altering for both of us you may think I exaggerate. But I'm not. My girl was all nose an no brake making a simple walk around the block impossible. She is fast as lightening and once she gets moving has no recall ability. I contacted Stephen out of fear for her and wanting to have a better life experience for both of us. After 3 weeks Olive returned a more mature and engaged dog who retained all her sweetness but is better at listening and has an understanding of her responsibilities. Is there more work to do? Yes, training will be an ongoing process for both of us. But we now have a solid foundation and common set of rules and routines. I'm very grateful for the training Olive received and highly recommend Stephen and his program.

We are so impressed with Stephen’s training program!! Our 1 year old Pomsky was quite a persistent guy. When we picked Togo after 4 weeks of training we were SHOCKED by how much he had learned! Togo now sleeps in his crate with little protest, stays in “place” while we eat meals, greet guests at the door or just need him out of the way for a moment. He sits on command and I was able to walk him with me on crutches with a broken ankle with zero pulling even with other dogs passing by. I have used a couple other trainers in the past and find that the training isn’t really helpful with everyday life. Stephen sets your dog up to succeed in even the most exciting situations. We have 3 active boys running around and found that Togo still responded to commands with all the chaos and excitement going on around him. Stephen was very knowledgeable about dogs and they’re natural instincts and personality and tailored training to fit Togo’s needs. I highly recommend Stephen’s Training program for any dog!
