I was the first customer in the Williamsburg, VA training center. Katie was exceptional and resulted in a well trained dog. She was professional and always happy to see Daisy. Katie took lots of pictures and kept me up to date throughout her boarding/training. Only positive reinforcement and caring. She taught a young dog had to calm herself down to be able to go to restaurants at the beach and to be an office dog. She knew enough about the breed to suggest things Daisy now loves including her ball and treadmill! 5 stars all the way!

We choose the 6 week program for our 8 month old golden retriever. Katie was a great trainer and we definitely saw improvement on walking behavior and overall listening to commands. I would highly recommend this training program to others with goldens who like are still in the velociraptor, high energy, ears turned off phase!

My wife and I took a two week vacation and left Cody, our 1yr old Golden Retriever, with Kate, a Stateline trainer here in Williamsburg, for training and bording. Best decision we could have made. Kate's training using positive reinforcement was very effective. That Cody now comes immediately when using the "come" command has allowed him to be a part of everything we do. The results definitely exceeded my expectations.

Unprofessional and damaging: Our dog has regressed significantly.
We enrolled our 3-year-old Pitbull mix in a 4-week Behavior Modification course specifically to address her severe anxiety and confidence issues. Despite a two-hour intake call and my constant check-ins, we discovered three weeks into the program that the staff had no idea why she was there.
Instead of the specialized care we paid for, our dog was passed off to an intern for a "one-size-fits-all" obedience program. They used fear-based methods that were entirely inappropriate for an anxious dog. We were looking for confidence building; instead, they broke her spirit.
The aftermath is devastating, our dog has regressed so severely that we are now forced to consider rehoming, a position we thought this place would help us avoid. When we tried to address this, the management was dismissive. We were told by a trainer (not the manager we were told would call) that our dog was "manipulating us." As experienced dog owners, we know this is a lazy excuse for poor training. Do not trust this facility with a dog that needs behavioral support.
