Stand Proud Dog Training

Really great trainers. We had them train our dog Bo, who was around 4 years old at this point and had aged into territorial and possessive behavior. As a large pit mix I'd rescued, these issues were super demoralizing and we were scared Bo would someday hurt someone, despite our constant vigilance. Plus his world had gotten super small because I couldn't trust taking him to the places we used to hang in public. Anyway, after the meet and greet we went with a moderate board and train program. And then it didn't start as smoothly as we all hoped. Not because of their team, Bo was just more aggressive and reactive than he'd displayed during the meet and greet. Was it disappointing - absolutely, but most important was Stand Proud were having the difficult conversation with us about what Bo needed. We all came up with a plan that set Bo up for success, and they made sure it was something we were comfortable with. Since then, it's been a journey, but the results are remarkable and they've been so invested in his success. He's got a strong grasp on place and sit until released, and even off-leash skills and recall. He's also much more comfortable regulating himself and waiting for guidance when he's unsure. We're so much more confident and proud of the goofball. Thanks Stand proud team!

I cannot rant and rave enough about how much Stand Proud helped my family and I with our Golden Retriever! He was such a head strong little guy and we had no idea what we were doing! They took our guy for a board and train program for a few weeks and when we got him back he was much better mannered and focused more on listening to us! We learned so much and to this day still practice what we learned with our newest puppy! I will ALWAYS recommend Stand Proud!!

We LOVE Stand Proud and all of their trainers. We have sent our pups Mina, Buck and Rufus and wouldn't trust anyone else with our furry family. The helped Mina work through resource guarding and helped her learn to get along with smaller dogs. She is amazing now and can even coexist with cats! They helped Buck build confidence and learn to live life off leash! When we decided to bring Rufus home we knew we would send him there in the beginning to make sure he was set up for success. Danielle is amazing and always goes above and beyond! The trainers are all very knowledgeable and have helped us more than words can describe. Their boarding is just as amazing! EVERY time we get close my dogs know and get excited as we pull up! I cant recommend Stand Proud enough.

Incredible family owned and operated business. I’m a first time dog owner, and they made me feel secure and confident in leaving my pup with them. The results have been incredible. My pup listens to every word I say on first command, and furthermore, has significantly reduced anxiety around new-to-her men (the main goal of her board and train). I would recommend these guys, and have done so, with every fellow dog owner I know. I literally couldn’t recommend them any stronger. Incredible people who do amazing work. 10/5 stars.
