I cannot speak highly enough of Stand Proud, not just as trainers but as people. Our dog had general obedience down but was really struggling with some developing reactivity and separation anxiety. We utilized Stand Proud's board and train option, as well as continuing at-home lessons afterwards, and we have seen an INCREDIBLE difference in our dog's confidence, as well as in our own confidence in knowing how to help our dog be more comfortable. If you're scrolling through training groups around the Reno area, thinking your dog's struggles are too niche or too different to deal with, stop looking and reach out to Stand Proud. You will absolutely not regret it.

Rusty went in as a happy puppy with nowhere to direct his energy and came back even happier but also ready to live with me and my family. Danielle and her entire team answered calls and texts to keep me informed of progress. After the board and train they stayed in contact to help me with health questions and also support me with at home training. They even checked in via phone to learn about how Rusty was doing after some health issues. The private lessons that came after board and train made doing the homework easy and fun. Stand Proud will love and appreciate your dog almost as much as you do. The highest compliment I believe I can give is that I trust them with a member of my family. Their compassion, kindness and grace will always resonate with me as I continue to benefit from their additional services and support.

Danielle and Debbie did a great job communicating with us to get our dog scheduled and then followed up with us to ensure our satisfaction.
Our dog trainer, Austin, was the best we have every had! We have had a few dogs over the years and we can honestly say he is the best. Austin set an environment rich in success and was there for our dog and us as owners. His training philosophies were spot on for our mini Aussie.
Thanks to Stand Proud we now get compliments on our dogs behavior and not the "good luck with that one!"

We did the in-home private dog training and they were wonderful! Corgis can be stubborn so I was struggling with teaching certain commands for months and the trainers were able to get him to do it in 5 minutes. Highly recommend!
