South Central Texas Dog Boarding & Training

Just had another awesome experience with South Central Texas Dog Boarding and Training! Paul is a genuine and consistent dog trainer/care taker. My pups are always happy to go there. The place is huge, giving them tons of space to run wild and enjoy the outdoors. The staff is super attentive and sends me daily pics of my happy dogs, which makes me feel good when I’m missing my doggos. You can tell they genuinely care about our dogs and I never worry when my dogs are there because I know they're having a blast! If you're looking for a consistent, high quality spot to board your dogs, this is it!

Tia would not listen at all to either myself or my spouse. The last straw was the day she darted out the door through the garage to freedom. As I followed her and tried to coax her back toward the house since we are about a tenth of a mile from Hwy 36S. She continued to maneuver away from me and she had no intention of my catching her. Finally I went to find the treats she liked and when I found her, she was less than 50 yards from the highway. I coaxed her to me as I threw the treats closer and closer to where I could grab her. This episode with her was the decision point to find a trainer that would change her ways. We found Paul and what a blessing he was. Tia stayed 4 weeks with him and she came back listening to the commands that Paul had taught her. She is so much more an enjoyable dog to have around with no fear of her running away. I can now take her outside our fence to go through her paces and all the commands that she learned. I highly recommend Paul’s training to anyone.

I recently boarded my two dogs at South Central Texas Dog Boarding and Training for a week, and I couldn't be happier with the experience! The facility is incredibly nice and spacious, providing plenty of room for my dogs to feel comfortable and at ease. One of the highlights was the ample outdoor time my dogs enjoyed. They went on long walks every day, which they absolutely loved. The owner was fantastic about keeping me updated with daily pictures, showing my dogs having a great time and putting my mind at ease. When I picked up my dogs, they were freshly bathed and clearly very happy. In fact, I don’t think they wanted to leave! It was evident that the owners genuinely cared for my dogs as if they were their own. I highly recommend South Central Texas Dog Boarding and Training to any pet owner. They provide exceptional care and a loving environment that ensures your pets are happy and well taken care of. I'll definitely be using their services again in the future!

Paul was amazing! We had a last minute issue with needing to get someone to watch our dog and found SCTX. He not only made us feel comfortable leaving our dog with him, he went above and beyond and spent a lot of time working and playing with him throughout the day. If you need to train your dog or enhance their skills - Paul is the man! And I won’t even go into how many wonderful photos and videos he sent us. Kept our heart full while we had to be away from our four-legged baby!
