Sol Dog Lodge and Training Center provides effective and affordable canine services to Tucson and surrounding areas. We are committed to helping you build and maintain a balanced, enjoyable relationship with your dog. Sol Dog Lodge is proud to be a kennel where your dog will receive individualized care and attention. We are different and do not provide a “free for all,” we set expectations for the dogs in our care, and ask for and reward your dog for the same good manners you would expect at home. Sol Dog Lodge boarding, and training services will challenge your dog both mentally and physically, so they leave balanced, tired and having practiced important skills.

When will you planning on opening this new facility?
I'm so glad you asked! The new campus will be opening in February 2025. The first step is to move the grooming and training services from the current Thornydale location. Then, we should have the kennels installed by the first part of March. Our plans are to be up and running by April.

We adopted a 4 y/o rescue female Pit Mix from PACC last month. Our vet recommends aggression training and recommended Soul Dog. We are retired on a fixed income. What are your rates and would she board there or we bring her in for each session?
How much is cost for basic obedience classes in group. I have an 18 month old labradoodle

Is this a live-in lodge?
Sol Dog Lodge provide boarding for dogs, personalized training and doggie day camp.

My puppy went for 4 days of training I would drop him off at 8 and pick him up at 430. But this was decided after an evaluation by the trainer. The do do boarding and also dog day care. I was extremely pleased and amazed at the difference in my dog after training.

Hi my name is Antonio and I was wondering did you guys get a dog that is a Siberian husky or just a husky all white with sky blue or kind of wihtesh eyes because my dog ran away and took off her coler so please tell me if you do or not. Thank you

Do you know anyone who has xoloscuintlis?
Hi David, We have never had xoloscuintlis, unfortunately. And we don't anticipating getting any. That of course could change! You might check https://www.petfinder.com/dog-breeds/xoloitzcuintli-mexican-hairless/ to find mixes and possibly one that is purebred. ~Mary

We're new in town and left Teddy our Shepherd mix for daycare while the movers were in the house. He loved it. The staff are super friendly and you can tell they love dogs. I would highly recommend Sol Dog Lodge for your fur babies. You will also receive a report card telling you how your pet acted and reacted to others.
Katie and Caitlyn have both groomed our Yorkie who is extremely anxious. They are both so great and sweet with her. I appreciate how they both take the time to ask about Stella’s cut as we continue to figure out how to best manage her thinner hair to minimize matting, etc. I feel confident leaving my “baby” with the staff at Sol Dog.
This is a clean facility, that is well run by a competent and personable staff. We're just starting a "reactivity" course with our high-energy dog. We already feel like there's light at the end of the tunnel.
