Sol Dog Lodge is proud to be a kennel where your dog will receive individualized care and attention. We are different and do not provide a “free for all,” we set expectations for the dogs in our care, and ask for and reward your dog for the same good manners you would expect at home.

When will you planning on opening this new facility?
I'm so glad you asked! The new campus will be opening in February 2025. The first step is to move the grooming and training services from the current Thornydale location. Then, we should have the kennels installed by the first part of March. Our plans are to be up and running by April.

We adopted a 4 y/o rescue female Pit Mix from PACC last month. Our vet recommends aggression training and recommended Soul Dog. We are retired on a fixed income. What are your rates and would she board there or we bring her in for each session?

My puppy went for 4 days of training I would drop him off at 8 and pick him up at 430. But this was decided after an evaluation by the trainer. The do do boarding and also dog day care. I was extremely pleased and amazed at the difference in my dog after training.

We have never had xoloscuintlis, unfortunately. And we don't anticipating getting any. That of course could change!

Our adopted shelter dog, Buddy, expressed fear of other people by cowering, showing teeth and growling. He was also very reactive when seeing other dogs on our walk. After an initial evaluation by trainer, Celeste, we understood that Buddy needed to build his confidence to be more secure.
Celeste provided training for Buddy (and us!) through a variety of methods, including walks, obstacle course, games and repetitive actions. She provided a summary after each session. After the training Buddy is much calmer on walks, enjoys games and no longer growls at people. I think we learned as much as Buddy! I would definitely recommend Sol Dog Lodge. It's apparent the staff are very knowledgeable and truly enjoy their work.

Recently boarded my dog Scout here for a long weekend and they did an amazing job! When we picked her up she was so happy and we could tell she had received lots of love while here! They also send daily pictures which was awesome. The place was very clean and the staff was all super friendly! Will definitely be using Sol Dog Lodge in the future!

Absolutely wonderful boarding and training Our girl was well cared for and seems more content each visit. We definitely recommend Celeste who trains with her. She tailors her training based on the animal and family. Any new puppy we get in the future, this is where we will return. 🐾

Sol Dog is phenomenal! We've done group puppy classes, private lessons, and grooming at Sol Dog and everything has been amazing.
Our puppy Junie was extremely reactive to other dogs and we felt like she would never get better. We enrolled her in the puppy elementary classes at about 5 months old. Kim and Jamaal were extremely accommodating and helpful throughout all of her behaviors, week after week. After she finished the group classes we did 2 private lessons with Kim and Jamaal and I can't say enough great things about the two of them. Junie is such a different dog from the day we started with Sol Dog and we couldn't be more grateful for Kim and Jamaal. I can't recommend Sol Dog Lodge enough!

I gave up and called a different training option here in town
