Sky Soldier Dog Training

Sky Soldier training gave me the tools to deal with my 'people & dog' reactive Belle. I skipped several vacations because I was afraid to leave her with pet sitters for fear that she would bite. She would lunge at them and growl. I had the pet sitter come by before the training and then after the training. It was like Belle was a different dog. I started understanding 'her' anxiety more and how to respond. She began to understand her behavior was unacceptable and no longer tolerated because I was giving the right cues and direction. I got ravings from the pet sitter on how sweet she was! After getting home from vacation, the pet sitter came by yesterday and Belle was friendly with her and even was wagging excitedly. It's like Belle needed permission to relax and not react. I COULD NOT HAVE DONE this prior to training without huge anxiety on my part & on Belle's part. We are just beginning this journey, but Belle needed the strict guidance to become the dog that I knew existed in her. Thanks Brandon!

When we got our pup, we did training with one of the big businesses that promoted doggie daycare with training. I thought that more socializing was better. Over time, our dog started becoming more aggressive towards certain dogs when on leash and when other male dogs would walk by our yard. I decided I didn’t want to continue to feel the stress and frustration so we reached out to SkySoldierDog Training. Brandon helped us with the importance of understanding dog mentality. After 5 weeks of training with Brandon (and us putting the “reps” in at home), we had a major shift in our dog. We no longer do daycamp. Our dog passes other dogs when walking and focuses on us. The “place” command allows our dog to come to work with us and be out in the yard with purpose instead of being a wild man. It takes effort on our part as pet owners but it’s worth the work. Our life is so much more enjoyable and our dog is much calmer. Thank you, Brandon.
