Sarah is amazing! Our 8 month old pittie is much better behaved now! We used to have issues with her jumping on people, digging holes outside and pulling on walks. After taking her to the 10 day boarding class, we no longer need to fill in the dug up holes in the backyard, can enjoy our walks with her and no longer need to be worried about her possibly knocking someone. We have also seen that some of her previous bad behaviors have stopped. I would most definitely recommend Sarah at Sit Means Sit and will definitely be bringing any future dogs of mine here!

Our dog, is a 9 month old pitbull who used to pull like crazy and got distracted by everything! We brought her to Sarah with Sit Means Sit and the outcome was phenomenal. Our dog now walks right next to us and will not leave our side unless told to. She no longer gets distracted and listens to every command. What Sarah did is incredible. If we ever get another dog we will 100% bring her to Sarah at Sit Means Sit once again!

We have a 15 month old golden retriever and were looking to have her be more responsive when we called her. We also wanted her to listen to commands of sit and then stay in her place. Sarah arrived at our home for our first lesson-always right on time for all of our training lessons and right away she instilled confidence in the way we would train our dog. She walked us through all of the steps with clear instructions. After the third lesson, we were amazed by how well all the training techniques Sarah had walked us through worked. Our dog came when we called immediately, would sit and stay without hesitation. Additionally, our dog walked with us without a leash, following our every move. Sarah was patient and confident with our dog. She really helped us with our training, too, because she gave exact instructions and tips for being successful with it. We would highly recommend Sit Means Sit and our training instructor, Sarah. We now have a well trained dog!!!

My rescue dog Max had extreme aggression issues with both people and dogs. We went to tons of dog trainers, dog therapy, etc. None of them ever worked out. They never wanted to be hands on and take on the challenge that my dog presented. After attacking another dog, I was going to have to rehome him if he didn’t get help. There was also the possibility of having to euthanize him if someone pressed charges. It was so bad even his vet refused to clip his nails. Nobody could come near him. We found Sit Means Sit in the fall of 2021. Our trainer, Kerry, immediately took control. I had never seen anyone handle Max the way she did. She was not bothered by his growling or lunging. She even told me dogs like Max were her favorite to train! Kerry worked with Max and I for 4 in home sessions. She did not ever give up on him like everyone else had. It was so comforting to find someone who had as much hope in him as I did. By the time we were ready for group training classes, Max was able to be around other people and dogs (muzzled) with no struggle. He was finally able to coexist without the constant anxiety he was going to hurt someone or freak out and cause a scene. This program has been the most amazing thing ever. The trainers are so uplifting and determined to help. They take this personally. Your dog is theirs. I don’t think you are going to find that anywhere else. Max has some way to go, but I would have never dreamed in a million years that he would have gotten this far already.
