As soon as we met with Tim we knew he was the right choice for our dog and the training was more than worth every penny! We will absolutely be brining all our future pups to him as well; I cannot recommend Tim and Sit Means Sit highly enough

We came to Sit Means Sit with our Frenchie, Thor, that was struggling with some resource guarding. Since working with Tim we have seen such an amazing difference in Thor! He is a much more relaxed and confident dog, and we are so grateful for the independence that behavioral training has given him and us!

Tim is a great trainer! We went in with our 1.5 yr old frenchie who was aggressive towards other dogs, pulled like crazy on walks and was not socialized well. We got her at 6 mos old and she got along with our boxer who is well behaved and trained. We tried everything with her, treats, repetitive training, an app for training, nothing was working. We went to Tim and I was apprehensive because the program used a tens collar, but after Tim explained that we have to match her energy and that the collar is a temporary training aid to help associate our voice commands with attention (collar) it clicked for her. (And us) she did very well during the 1x1 sessions with Tim which I highly recommend as she needed to be submerged in the training and it would have taken much longer if he just trained us to train her. We needed both. After 4 weeks, she was doing just about everything we asked the first command. There was something we needed extra focus on as she was darting out our side gate, after we had worked with her, and Tim addressed it even more in our last session which totally helped. And then the group classes on saturdays to help her learn how to properly socialize with people and their dogs are seriously priceless and continues to be able to have a working session led by Tim to reinforce everything we’ve learned. Worth every penny! His post lesson instructions and transition training time is well thought out and very helpful. We are now working on reinforcing his teachings and then will start to phase out the collar as the program is built.

We completely trusted the Sit Means Sit approach to training and Tim made us and Turtle (our puppy) feel comfortable and confident. After the introduction of the learning aid that turtle would wear, it was very clear that he thought of it as an extension of our hand. He was much more obedient on walks and now looks to us before and decision he makes (like whether or not he should sniff a bush or greet another dog).
This approach builds the foundation that keeps Turtle safe and builds our trust in each other
