Our rescued, 1.5 yr old male pit mix from the humane society is a love but he needed to learn some manners and control his urges. There is no Quick fix and it takes lots of time and dedication, but the training techniques we learned from Tim (Sit means sit) have been a game changer. We all learned and are continuing to learn techniques to improve doggie citizenship. Our baby absolutly loved going. Looking forward to the group classes.

Tim is an amazing dog trainer. He is patient and supportive and so knowledgeable. He even made a house call when my pug was being extra stubborn. Tim truly can teach an old dog new tricks!! Olive and I both enjoy the Saturday classes. Well worth the investment!

We’ve had a great experience with Sit Means Sit Dog Training! Our 1-year-old dog was struggling with reactive behavior around other dogs and needed help with leash walking.
The one-on-one training sessions gave us a strong foundation and taught us clear, effective commands that actually work. Tim was patient, knowledgeable, and really took the time to understand our dog and our goals.
Now that we’ve moved into group lessons, it’s been amazing to see everything come together in real-world situations. Our dog is so much calmer on walks, and his behavior continues to improve with each session.
We feel more confident as owners, and our dog is happier too. Highly recommend Sit Means Sit to anyone looking for real, lasting results!

The Saturday morning group classes are the biggest benefit once the individual training sessions are completed. They’re included in your package and you can drop in when it works for you.
Pro tip: GO to those group classes! That’s where you figure out that most of the time, it’s not the dog who needs training, it’s the owner learning how to be a clear, calm leader giving your dog the confidence they need to be lead by you.
Tim doesn’t disappear after your sessions end either. SMSSD treats you like family for life and Tim continues to support you with questions and follow up.
