Both trainers at Sit Means Sit are amazing! As a first time mama bear to a fur baby, I was nervous about the e-collar, but Tim is super family-oriented and made me feel completely comfortable with it. He strikes the perfect balance of discipline and love. We brought in our 11 month old min pin for heavy leash pulling, reactivity, and scavenging. We had tried training him for 6 months but nothing was sticking. Tim is thorough, highly communicative, and gives excellent post-session directions. We just started group classes and loved how welcoming they are, they truly pay attention to every dog. We've seen great improvement in just a few weeks, and these group sessions are the perfect next step for his rehab!

I have never used any type of professional services before to train my dogs, but this time, I wanted our new puppy to have the best, that’s where Sit Means Sit has been instrumental! She is a terrier/cattle mix with strong drive and energy. Tim at SMS has been great to work with, getting her through the basic steps and working together she is turning into an amazing companion and addition to our family.

We had an incredible learning experience at Sit Means Sit. Our dog Dipper learned so much and seemed to pick things up quickly thanks to Tim’s leadership and his clear guidance for us as we practiced our training lessons at home. Tim worked with us to establish routine and help guide us to hit our goals for Dipper. Although it’s only been a few weeks since we started the program, we feel like we’ve already come so far and our home experience with Dipper has changed for the better. We’re fortunate to have Tim in our corner and can’t recommend Sit Means Sit enough!

Tim was fantastic from start to finish. I have a very sweet but very stubborn and energetic Husky, German Sheppard, Golden Retriever mix. I did the four week program for my girl and I can honestly say Frankie is so much better! She’s only 6 months old so I know it’ll require more work/consistency at home, but one of the things I loved about this program is that I got some training too! I wasn’t sure what I needed to be teaching her, but now I know I have the right tools to make her a very well trained and happy pup. Thank you Tim & team! Highly recommend.

Before training, simply seeing another dog could trigger barking, anxiety, and reactive behavior. Tim worked carefully to rebuild her confidence and teach her to remain calm and focused. Today, she is significantly more relaxed, composed, and confident around other dogs. The difference is truly night and day. Her leash manners have improved dramatically as well. Walks that once felt like a battle are now enjoyable. Daisy walks politely, pays attention to us, and responds reliably to commands. Being able to take her out without constant pulling or stress has made a tremendous difference in our daily lives. Beyond the behavioral improvements, Tim helped restore something even more important—Daisy’s confidence. After the attack, she seemed anxious and uncertain in many situations. Through consistent training and positive guidance, Tim helped her become more secure and comfortable in her environment. What impressed us most was Tim’s commitment to both the dog and the owners. He was always willing to answer questions, provide encouragement, and ensure we understood how to continue reinforcing Daisy’s training. His passion for helping dogs succeed was evident in every interaction. Today, Daisy is happier, calmer, more obedient, and far more comfortable around distractions than we ever thought possible.
