Tim and McKayla are amazing!!!! I went to them feeling helpless with my 7 year old dog, Maeve, who is reactive to people and other dogs. She was a covid puppy and had 2 TPLO surgeries for her hind legs. She has been through a lot and it became so overwhelming, I had no idea where to start. They broke it down and allowed Maeve and I to take it week by week. We are slowly building her confidence, as well as mine. Within the 4 weeks of training I already noticed a difference, however this is just the start of our journey! I could not recommend them enough and the services they provide. For the first time in over 5 years I was able to take her on a walk without being anxious the whole time. With being given the tools, education, and advice i’m so excited to continue this journey and allow her to be a dog and doing normal dog things!!

As first-time dog owners, we tried multiple ways to train our Cavapoo—YouTube videos, apps, and even a personal trainer at home. But our pup can be stubborn and strong-willed, and we were struggling with behaviors like growling and resource guarding. That’s when we came across Sit Means Sit and decided to give it a try. Tim has been wonderful to work with. He is kind and patient, while also being assertive and consistent with the training. Our puppy absolutely loves him and always seems eager to show Tim what a good boy he can be! What we especially appreciate is that the training doesn’t stop with the dog. After each of the four one-on-one training days, Tim patiently worked with us as owners, teaching us how to reinforce the training and continue practicing at home. We’ve just completed our four-week training program and have already seen a positive difference. We’ll now be joining the group classes for the rest of the year to continue building on what we’ve learned. We really like the structure of the program—starting with focused individual training and then transitioning to ongoing group classes for continued practice and reinforcement. We’re very happy we decided to give Sit Means Sit and Tim a try, and we’re looking forward to continuing the journey!
