River City Obedience Training

Sue has done an excellent job training our Great Dane. Our dog went from being stubborn (horrified at the thought of being on a leash) to extremely well trained. Our dog has the exact same personality as when we left her with Sue but now she will sit, stay, lay, heel and come without hesitation. We had previously taken our Newfoundland to Sue about six years ago and we were so impressed back then that we never hesitated to choose her again.

Sue did a great job training our Golden Doodle! We had Sue do the in-house training where she came out every week to help us train. We loved her methodology and we refer back to the material she provided on a regular basis. More importantly, Sue has been very engaged with us on an ongoing basis. Whenever we have a training question, Sue always takes time to walk through how best to handle a situation. She even calls occasionally to check in and see how we're doing - truly remarkable customer service. We highly recommend Sue.

When Sue was recommended to us, our shepherd, Max, was totally out of control. Nothing we did could calm him down or keep him from flipping out when he saw one of our cats. Sue has many tricks up her sleeve and an awesome understanding of dogs. We decided to have Max begin his training with three months of 'boot-camp' at Sue's house. It was hard have him gone for so long but it was also a relief to have the break. And he did not forget us! The money spent was well worth it! We still meet with Sue to work on fine tuning Max's skills and working toward our goal of having a therapy dog. Sue sees the potential in our dog and has been a great source of encouragement. Because she did not give up on us, we haven't given up on Max. Thanks, Sue!
