River City Obedience Training

Zoe, my son's dog came to me upon his death. I've never had a pet before and was totally lost, as was Zoe. I turned to Rivercity Obedience Training for guildance. Never in my life have I dealt with someone who was so loving and compassionate. Sue Torpy always took the time to not only listen, but probe further into our actions and reactions. Sue's approach was to take the time to understand Zoe's emotions and explain it to me. Yes, if you haven't guessed, I needed more training than Zoe did. It is clear that Sue has invested a vast number of hours in education. Ths combined with her passion for training makes her the best of the best. I can't imagine turning to anyone else for training.

Our family resuced a mastiff/great dane mix and we knew since she was a 3 yr old, both she & we would both need some training & untraining. Per a neighbor's glowing review of Sue, I gave her a call & am so thankful I did!! She really took time with us trying to figure out her quirks & personality, giving me insight as to what to look for, untraining my husband & myself & giving us options of different things that would work for her as an adult depending on how she responded. I wish I would have called Sue for our first dog, I have & would recommend her to any dog owner. She is super knowledgeable & has taken a lot of time with me after the fact over the phone as issues have come up to help us have the best dog for our family. Call Sue, she's great!!!

Sue has done an excellent job training ME! She helped me to turn my disobedient, defensive, and obnoxious Rhodesian Ridgeback into a well-mannered, friendly companion. Easily one of the most knowledgeable and understanding trainers i have ever worked with. She can turn anyone into an expert dog trainer in no time at all. She provided me with detailed handouts to read that helped me hone in on what i was doing wrong with my dog. I would recommend her to anyone experiencing problems with their dog.
