If you are the hands-on type that wants to be personally involved with training your pooch, our group dog training classes are for you. Group classes not only teach you training methods, but also provide the benefit of socializing with other dogs and owners.

Ideal for owners who simply don’t have the time, energy, or patience to lay the foundation their dog themselves. Your dog stays at our Positive Pets Dog Training facility during the day for one day a week for 3-6 weeks depending on how well you want the dog trained before move one to group classes.

Do you have classes for young puppies?
For dogs who are 5 months or younger, we have our Puppy Pre-School. This will teach you the principles of raising a well-mannered, confident and socially outgoing puppy. If you are interested, give us a call at (208) 888-0708

We did their Puppy school with Tass and it was amazing! It changed the way I approached dog training. I highly recommend it! Normally when I call them I speak with Angie, she is great too! She knows literally everything about Positive Pets!

I would recommend Positive Pet Dog Training to any pet owners! Our dog Lacy completed the Day Train program and was completely transformed from a dog that pulled, barked, and bolted to one that has her attention on us. Not only did she learn useful skills such as sit, place, down, heel, and come, but her listening around distractions improved exponentially over the time of our training. The Day Train sessions were beyond valuable. Ayla was our trainer and her knowledge of and care for animals is clear. She took the time to answer all our questions and help problem solve any issues we were having at home. Lacy was not the only one who learned, we also gained the confidence to take her with us wherever we go. We also boarded Lacy at Positive Pets for a week, and she came back happy and comfortable. We are excited to continue our training in the group classes, another great resource they offer. Positive Pets is truly worth it, and we cannot thank them enough for their help with Lacy!

Ayla and Devin are both great trainers. We worked with Ayla mostly. She did a fantastic job and answered any questions we had. We are still taking our dog, Remi, to classes on the weekends to further her training. I would definitely recommend Positive Pets Dog Training to anyone looking for pet training.

I can’t say enough great things about Positive Pets Training. My dog, Guinness, has progressed so much in the four full day classes, and of course doing our homework practice. Devin and Tasmin worked miracles. Two separate house guests were amazed at how well behaved he was. (I had stressed over that a lot). We will continue with all that we were taught. So grateful.
