If you are the hands-on type that wants to be personally involved with training your pooch, our group dog training classes are for you. Group classes not only teach you training methods, but also provide the benefit of socializing with other dogs and owners.
Group classes offer the benefit of socializing with other dogs and owners, and working around distractions. The classes are kept small to make sure each dog and their owners are able to get personal attention without getting lost in a large group.

Ideal for owners who simply don’t have the time, energy, or patience to lay the foundation their dog themselves. Your dog stays at our Positive Pets Dog Training facility during the day for one day a week for 3-6 weeks depending on how well you want the dog trained before move one to group classes.

Do you have classes for young puppies?
For dogs who are 5 months or younger, we have our Puppy Pre-School. This will teach you the principles of raising a well-mannered, confident and socially outgoing puppy. If you are interested, give us a call at (208) 888-0708

We did their Puppy school with Tass and it was amazing! It changed the way I approached dog training. I highly recommend it! Normally when I call them I speak with Angie, she is great too! She knows literally everything about Positive Pets!

We’ve been bringing our 2‑year‑old Aussie to Positive Pets Dog Training since she was a puppy, and every experience has been fantastic. The trainers are knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely gentle in their approach. We recently finished the Foothills Etiquette class and had a great time building confidence while hiking the Boise foothills. Our dog loved it, and so did we. Positive Pets has been a consistently positive part of her growth through obedience, outdoor adventures agility training, and we’re excited for future classes.

I've had 2 dogs go thru their programs. I am very please with the results. Being able to have off leash control and trust is a must for our lives. Also being able to learn to mentally stimulate my dogs and challenge them to burn some of that energy has been amazing.

We had a great experience with Positive Pets. Our older dog has a lot of anxiety and reactivity, and they did an amazing job with him. They boarded him for training and even spent extra time with him to make sure he really got everything down. Afterward, the private lessons were super helpful—they walked me through everything and showed me how to keep up the training at home. They also offer a lot of specialized training and group classes, which is great if you want to keep building on what your dog learns. Everyone on the staff is so friendly, and you can tell they genuinely care. My dog is always happy to be there, which says a lot. Turns out you can teach an old dog new tricks!

The entire team at positive pets are beyond incredible. I have 2 Fox Terrier’s that had major aggression issues. We put both dogs through the Super Dog Program. The team there particularly Donny & Ayla were always there for help and support. We learned how to manage their energy, and make it fun and safe. When we host BBQ’s now the activity for the kids is to take Duncan & Bridger through the agility course. I feel so proud when a kid is able to give the dogs commands and they listen.
