FirstBarkWe bought our dog from Chad at the beginning of summer and then took him back for initial training in the fall. You can tell that Chad breeds amazing hunting dogs and so far the initial training was great. At 7 months old he worked the field as expected and I look forward to working with Chad to perfect his hunting skills.

I can’t say enough how impressed I am with the quality of Chad’s breeding program, and the level of commitment they have to not only raising the finest GSP’s but making sure the new owners are completely satisfied with their new puppy. My dog Huck who came from a Jerzie/Huck litter in 2017 has been the absolute best from the time we brought him home at 8 weeks old. After 6 years of having him in the house and hunting him all over, from Missouri to the northern prairie, I’m constantly amazed at just how well he can flip a switch from being the perfect companion in our home with my wife and kids, to being the most versatile GSP I’ve ever hunted behind. It’s all a testament to the breeding program and the time Chad spent with Huck that first year for a few short months. Thanks Chad for everything.
I highly recommend Phillips Gun Dogs to anyone needing hunt training for their bird dogs. Chad is not only one of the best at what he does, but he genuinely cares about each and every one of those dogs he works with. Great guy, great family!
I couldn’t be happier with my decision to get a dog from Phillips gun dogs. The dog I got from Chad is a loving house dog at home and awesome when in the field. He came from Rhein & Jerzie and has had a natural point on birds since we got him at 8 weeks! I will be taking him back due to my limited training supplies to really get Benson tuned in. He’s been a great addition to our family!

He communicated as I’d expected and would respond in a timely fashion if I had any questions or concerns. In short, he’s help turn Gunner into a hunting unit.
