Shannon did such an amazing job working with our mini Aussie, Harli. We had tried so many options to promote behavior change and engage her socially to decrease her anxiety. Honestly, I wish I would have reached out to Shannon sooner! Harli attends daycare and they have noticed a significant increase in confidence and said she use to only play with one pup and now plays with everyone. Harli would bark in fear of other animals, people, noises, just anything and to no end. After training, I can utilize a simple command and she is able to settle. Lastly, Harli would hide behind us when in social settings and now she is able to socialize on her own terms. I’m so thankful for Shannon’s help with our pups anxiety.

I don’t say this lightly, and I wouldn’t say it if it wasn’t true, but Shannon changed our dog’s life! Prior to board and train, our dog, Zoey, had A LOT of anxiety while on walks. We dreaded taking her with us on walks and adventures because she was terrible about pulling and barking on the leash. After completing the four week reactivity program, Zoey is able to go on our nightly walks with us and is quickly learning that the world doesn’t end 100 yards from our front door! Zoey was a rehomed dog. Before becoming a part of our family, Zoey spent a lot of time outside or kenneled, which resulted in a lot of poor indoor manners. Shannon worked very well with us to identify areas where we wanted Zoey to improve around the house. For example, Zoey is now very proficient with the place command and we can confidently bring the stroller in and out of the house without worrying she will run out, which has happened in the past. We have also noticed a huge decrease in the amount that she is barking inside and outside. Prior to boarding, Zoey would bark at pretty much anything and everything. Now she seems so relaxed while in her yard and doesn’t feel the need to stare out the window at all hours. I wasn’t expecting to see such a shift in her anxiety, but I’m so grateful for it and I can tell that she is, too! I would recommend Shannon to anyone looking for some extra help with their dog’s training. She is very thorough with answering questions, provides a lot of educational material during training, and makes the turnover very smooth! We also loved seeing the photos of Zoey on her field trips with Shannon. Overall, it was a great experience and we will definitely work with Shannon again!

Shannon at Pawsonal Training was amazing!!! Our pup, Zews, used to be awful to walk with. We tried taking him to training classes for months, but he barked constantly and we got frustrated. Choosing to send Zews to Shannon for training was our best decision. Our walks- on and off leash- have been so enjoyable, just the way we hoped it would be. Zews now comes when called so we have him playing in our unfenced yard while we are out. Another thing Shannon trained Zews to do was to go to Place. We bought a small travel cot for him and take it with us to outdoor restaurants. We tell Zews Place & Down and he lays on the cot quietly while people walk around him and he stays put! He even stays when other dogs walk by. We are so impressed, and so are people who see him. Thank you Shannon & Pawsonal Training!!!
