Susan and her team of experienced trainers are super patient and don’t give up on us if we’re willing to put in the effort. We’ve tried puppy school, nose work, and parkour, and let me tell you, it’s made our dogs’ lives so much better!

We took our Wheaten terrier to Paws4Training seven years ago and had a great experience, so it was a natural to call Susan back up when we added a Shihpoo rescue to the family a couple of months ago. She's been such a big help in not only training Gwennie (and us) but also in helping us navigate poor Walter's unexpected resistance to having a little sister! One of the things I really love about Susan and Paws4Training is the care and flexibility -- unlike another place I had called in Ballard, she was totally willing to work with us on letting Gwen take the puppy kindergarten class even though she was going to have aged out by the end of the course. Susan loves dogs and wants what's best for them, and that comes through loud and clear. Puppy camp has been a huge blessing, too -- we get a break from puppy energy for four hours every morning, and Gwennie is learning so much (the crate training has been especially helpful) and comes home ready for a long nap after playing so hard with the other pups. <3
We left our puppy twice for a group training and daycare. They were so nice and they even sent us a very detailed report about how our puppy did for desired trainings and behaviors. It was so great to see how caring they are and our puppy was really happy at the end of the day
Completed growly dog class with our youngest dog, Tilly, who had become increasingly reactive to other dogs over the past year. We saw a huge improvement in her reactivity during the 5 week course and now have the tools to help Tilly on our walks!
