We took our little guy to Club K-9 for service dog training several years ago ( about 3 years) and they did a spectacular job. He is just the perfect service dog when working. We recommended them for years. Now, do NOT bring your dog here. We started taking our boy for daycare feeling like he needed to have more socialization. We went against our instincts the first day because we trusted them. Walking in you smell nothing but dog. Which was abnormal. We decided if it was still bad when we picked him up we would not do take him again. It was better so we brought him next week. He was energetic when we got him home and so we took him again next week. He loved it. So we took him yesterday. I picked him up an hour early and he was acting odd the moment he was brought out to me. Usually he lingers wagging his tail but this time he ran for the door. In the car he was subdued and not acting like normal. His behavior continued to be odd. Last night he slept with my mom in her bed, which he never does. Upon examination he had what appeared to be a footprint on his lower left back. He is white, it showed up. I didn't this k about taking a photo of it until this morning, and I wish I had for proof. He was still acting odd this morning and wanted answers. Upon contacting them they deflected and told us Zachary (the fantastic owner) had sold the business six months ago. We asked again what happened and asked them to investigate. They said our dog was a good boy who was playful and wanted cuddles. Nothing else. They did not have time to investigate because this was an immediate reply via text to our request. Do NOT bring your baby here. We cancelled our future appointments and I came here to immediately warn everyone. I hope those currently bringing their dogs here see this. This was Cross posted on yelp.

⚠️ Heartbreaking Experience – In My Opinion, My Dog Was Neglected and Mishandled I’ve thought long and hard about writing this review, but I feel that other pet parents deserve to hear my personal experience and perspective. When I enrolled my dog, I made it clear that I did not want any pain or shock-based training methods used. She had previously been through trauma after having to protect me, and I wanted her handled gently and respectfully. To my understanding, the facility later switched her to a pinch collar without notifying me because they said she wasn’t responding to training. When I attended a session, it appeared to me that the training method involved significant physical pressure from that collar, and I personally felt that it was causing her distress. My dog, who normally has a fun and loving temperament, cowered and pulled back when a male trainer came near her after she had an accident on the floor. That was very unlike her and deeply concerning to me. When I picked her up, she had lost approximately five pounds, had diarrhea on the ride home, and seemed unusually withdrawn. In my opinion, this could indicate she was not eating properly (she is a late eater, which I had disclosed), and I believe she may have been given chicken—something she is allergic to. Despite paying over $3,000, I personally saw no measurable improvement in her training or well-being. When I arrived to take her home, I remained polite, but the trainer seemed irritated and made a comment along the lines of, “Well, I’m not going to correct her since you’re pulling her out.” The owner then declined to offer any refund, stating, “Let’s just call it even.” In my opinion, my dog was not treated with the compassion or professionalism I expected. After bringing her home, I worked with a different trainer who used positive, gentle methods — and she has since thrived. I’m sharing this experience solely to inform other pet owners. Based on what I personally observed, I would urge anyone considering this facility to ask detailed questions about their training methods and to check in regularly on their pet’s condition. Every dog is not a good fit for every program. I wish they would have just said she was too much for them to handle. Out dogs deserve kindness, not fear.

My dogs always get a friendly greeting when we arrive for daycare. They play for a half day once or twice a week. One of my basset hounds refuses to get into the car and the staff is always accommodating by lifting his very long, 60 lb body into the backseat for me. My dogs happily go in the front door to play with their friends, and happily come home. Wish overnight boarding was less expensive so I could leave them when we’re out of town.
