If you are looking for professional dog training, I highly recommend Ashley Seals-Bonebrake. Our beloved Charlie spent three weeks with Ashley in her ‘board and train’ program and I could not be happier about the result. If you are considering hiring a professional trainer for dogs with anxiety, reactivity, or behavior modification, I can recommend Ashley Seals-Bonebrake for at least these two reasons: 1) In just three weeks, Ashley was able to achieve incredible results in modifying Charlie’s reactivity, fear-aggression, and general youthful exuberance. Before we involved Ashley, we struggled to manage Charlie’s issues and things had gotten to the point where we questioned whether he needed to be re-homed. Fortunately, we found Ashley. With Ashley’s board and train program and a few weekly follow up lessons, Charlie is obedient, manageable, and I can trust him. Ashley also taught me quite a bit about canine behavior and how to train and communicate with my dog. At bottom, Ashley was able transform Charlie into the family dog we all wanted. 2) Charlie, who generally doesn’t care much for people, absolutely LOVES Ashley as if she was one of our own!!! The way Charlie just lights up with joy when he sees Ashley tells me all I need to know about how she cares for dogs. It certainly can be unnerving trusting a stranger to care for you pet. However, after seeing just how much LOVE Charlie developed for Ashley in just three weeks, I have no doubt that Ashley gave Charlie the same love, care, and attention he would receive in our own home. As such, I have total confidence in recommending Ashley for any one looking for a board and train program or individualized training. Ashley has been incredible—not only in training our dog, Goose, but also in teaching us the techniques and behaviors needed to reinforce what he’s learned and continue his development. Ashley was absolutely amazing!! I dropped off my dogs (7 year old Golden Retriever and 5 year old Black Lab) for a 3 week board and train after moving to the Portland area. Their leash manners were absolutely terrible, pulling and not listening when on leash. I when I went to pick them up, I was shocked! They were so well behaved, listened to commands with ease, and still had their goofy personalities! Ashley took such great care of them and they fell in love with her! Every lesson after, they were so excited to see her and work with her again. She’s incredibly knowledgeable and taught me exactly how to handle the new commands, keep up with their training, and made sure I know she’s always there to help when needed. I cannot recommend Pavlov training and Ashley enough!

Ashley is our fairy dog mother. Officially. She took our 20 wk puppy and turned her into a well behaved, lovable and fun pup. I have words for everything in life but I’m truly speechless at all she was able to accomplish in just two weeks. She met Mabel right where she was and double downed on what we needed to strengthen. She now walks like a lady, sits for her food, is patient with her humans, knows to not run out an open door AND is fully crate trained. I have the best dog in the neighborhood on walks and out in public. I’m forever grateful for her services and dedication to dog training! HIGHLY recommend.
