FirstBarkLuke is very knowledgeable and patient. No matter how many YouTube videos or group classes we took, having a private lesson with someone as passionate and knowledgeable about dogs’ behaviors as Luke is has proven to be exponentially more helpful. Having a fearful reactive mini Aussie is daunting at times, but now I feel like we have the tools to understand and help our sweet dog Ollie.

Operation Good Dog has been absolutely amazing for my reactive dog! Luke does an incredible job of assessing the dog's behavior, asking questions, and providing actionable solutions with explanations of how/why it will help, all using positive reinforcement methods. He also provides excellent resources to reinforce what he teaches in person. What was especially helpful for me was how he would explain, demonstrate, and then observe so that he could offer tips and adjustments for me. There were definitely some timing adjustments that really helped ensure that I was marking the correct behavior. Luke is extremely patient and was very easy to work with. I highly recommend him!
I contacted Luke for a 3-week program & he had what seemed like unlimited pointers, tips, & tricks. Very knowledgeable & understanding of the behavioral & emotional intellect of my dog. He was personable, respectful, & always on time. After each training Luke will send you a detailed summary/recap easy to look back on when you think you may have missed something. Highly recommend!!!
Luke is a wonderful trainer and my dog adored him! His calm demeanor and positive reinforcement techniques work so well. I highly recommend Luke no matter what type of training your dog needs. I hope to have some additional training sessions in the future!
Hands down the most efficient and effective hour you will spend learning how to train your dog. Luke shows and explains the how, what and why for each training piece in that hour. The online follow up materials and homework after each training session are great to help keep us humans on task with training between sessions. Highly recommend Operation Good Dog!
